Just got back from spending 7 days at Bercelo Beach. Beautiful resort! Rooms so clean; bed was so spacious and comfortable.;temperature of the bath/shower was perfect Buffet food was plenty and delicious. Service was excellent (Maria) made sure we had everything we needed and more Gourmet restaurants food was very tasty. Beaches were beautiful . Seaweed was well maintained. A little patience needed for communication with some of the.employees. Very friendly atmosphere with staff, and other Travellers. All in all a great vacation would definently go again!

My friends and I had a really nice and relaxing time at this resort. Mayi and her coworkers do a great job making sure guests are comfortable and have a fun time. Dance lessons, aerobics in the pool, stretching on the beach, but we never felt pressured into taking part in anything. We stayed in the adults-only section of the resort and enjoyed the peace and quiet. I’d definitely come back! Oh and I recommend a half-day boat trip with snorkeling and views of crazy turquoise waters.

Third return visit and not disappointed...Enjoyed a week at Barcelo Bavaro Beach and it wasn't long enough! Usually book 10 - 12 days which is perfect for this piece of paradise. Rooms are dated but maintained and clean. Buffet service in the morning always had plenty to choose from, favourite dinner locations were Chez Gourmet with relaxing service and exceptional meals, especially the Lamb, Las Brisas with an excellent buffet at lunch combined with a beautiful ocean view setting and for dinner there, both the food and service were exceptional. A great way to close out your day is a short stroll or train ride to the the large resort and enjoy an incredible Spanish Coffee at the Rum Bar located on the second floor. Lobby area and theatre service seemed to be even better on this visit even when crowded. Overall the staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.... special mention to Maria, main buffet, great way to start a morning with her cheerful attitude, Valeris, main buffet and Marlennis, pool service, both always smiling and attentive, Miquel on the entertainment team always joking and encouraging us to participate in some of the poolside activities making our holiday memorable. The only real change we noticed this time around was that guests were up early staking out both pool and beach chairs, if you didn't get down before 8:00 am. you may have a problem getting a spot. All in all looking forward to a return visit!

I really enjoyed the adults-only side of Bávaro Beach in Punta Cana and stayed for a four-day quick getaway. I absolutely loved how compact the adults-only section is—there is very little walking required, and the atmosphere felt relaxed without being crowded. The staff were exceptional, and I noticed that many of the service team spoke English very well. A special shout-out to Ramon, who truly made our short stay memorable. He checked us in and took excellent care of us throughout our visit. This was one of the best check-in experiences I’ve had, and I travel often. Pro tip: take advantage of the other resorts connected to this property. They offer great variety and are easy to access. We had read mixed reviews about the food and primarily dined at the main buffet, which was consistently good. Some of the à la carte restaurants could improve their food quality, but this did not take away from the overall experience. Overall, I would return in a heartbeat. Loved the gorgeous beach! 🌊☀️

Miguel on the entertainment squad was an absolute hoot! He made our stay a fun one and he saught us out on multiple occasions to invite us to different activities, taught us some great dance moves, and was incredibly helpful with our random questions about what was going on that day. The rooms are as they appear in pictures on the site - dated. But the goal isn't to be in your room much anyways. The ocean water is not clear, so not the best for snorkeling but our stay was great - good food, good entertainment, good pools and GREAT drinks! While our stay was good overall, Miguel is the reason we will be back! The resort is incredibly lucky to have such an exceptional employee!
