I can see why this is a Disney favorite. The rooms are huge! We had a two bedroom, with a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a separate jacuzzi tub, laundry room, and outdoor space. My only issue, we were so far from the main club house about a 30-minute walk, so you had to take a bus or drive. Also, since things were so far, some activities were missed, which we would've loved to participate in. While the distance may not affect many people, I should've requested something closer to the main center since I was traveling with a senior who required a lot of support (that's on me). Overall, good stay.

The resort itself is nice. The buses come pretty regularly and Olivia's Restaurant is great. My only disappointment was the room itself. We stayed in a two bed one bathroom studio. The room was old and tired and looked like a basic Hampton Inn.
It was not super clean and I found hair on the toilet which kind of grossed me out.
The room had only one coffee cup and only one roll of toilet paper. I will say that when we requested a few things they came quickly and did empty the trash daily.
I like Old Key West but the rooms need a refurbish.

We just got back from a week at Old Key West. The hotel was nice and I loved the theme and feel. We had a large party so we had 2 two bedroom villas. They did a great job of putting us in rooms right next to each other- which we've had past problems with at other Disney resorts. However, one room was not able to be accessed by our app- no big deal except we couldn't get anyone to help us with it at 11pm at night. Thankfully, the bellman let us in to our room when he brought the bags or we would've been SOL and stuffing 12 people into one room. Also, we were on the 3rd floor and there were no elevators. Which was a problem as we had 4 young children and 2 double strollers. Just beware.

This is a nice enough resort. I just felt like a older beach style resort type place. Not a theme park place. We are also used to a king bed so the beds seemed small and firm. We were also surprised by the stairs, so if you are anywhere except the 1st floor be prepared to lug your luggage upstairs. Another bummer was there was a bright porch lite that shined through the huge peep hole in the door and the bathroom window. It seemed very quiet. It's alright but I wouldn't stay there again.

We stayed in a lovely and spacious 2 bedroom villa at Disney's Old Key West Resort. It was great having a full kitchen with dishes, silverware, and glasses. The staff checked every day to see if we needed anything. The transportation to the Disney parks and Disney Springs is very convenient. The views of the natural Florida landscapes from our room were relaxing. I look forward to staying at this resort again.
