Disney's Old Key West Resort

The rooms are extremely spacious and feel very much like home, the amenities are superb, along with all the activities on the resort property. Old Key West is by far one of our favorite resorts to visit. The cast members on property are all very kind and the lifeguards make sure the pool is not only safe, but welcoming too. Lifeguard Alex in specific made our stay great as when our little sister lost her duck he went out of his way to ask his coordinator if she could retrieve it for us. He didn't have to do this, but he did, and it really shows how much the cast members here care about the guests. This small act of kindness made our stay worthwhile. Thank you to Alex & all the other cast members that made our stay amazing.

The location is far. You have to take buses everywhere. Plus you will probably have to stay a little ways from the lobby. But. Don't. Let. That. Stop. You. It's very nice. Very clean. A pretty place with boat service to Disney springs. We had a studio and it was spacious and bright and light. Our view was overlooking the golf course. Cute art in the rooms. Good restaurants. I would definitely recommend. And added bonus - Donald, goofy and Pluto sometimes visit.

Disney's Old Key West Resort is one of our home away from home's. We love it here, but strongly suggest reserving a room which is close to the hospitality house. If not, you could be placed in a building which is situated in the very back near a marsh and bugs everywhere. Trust me, we have experienced it. Once we reported bugs everywhere, not able to use the balcony and a sticky carpet with must smell...we were moved to a room that had nothing listed above...it was near the front overlooking the golf course with no bug infestation. It was beautiful. Olivia's is also phenomenal for brunch and for dinner, both very delicious...the pool was great...we watched the 4th fireworks from the top of the slide and kept going over & over, magical. We were there on my birthday and they surprised us with balloons and gifts when we came back from the park one day. Overall, as long as your building is hear hospitality house...you'll be happy.

I loved this place so much! We had a one bedroom villa, the amenities are great. The ONLY thing I will say that made me and my husband chuckle was the hard, uncomfortable sofas provided in living room. But we didn’t really hangout inside as much as we thought. The pools are so great, Olivia’s is yummy, general store had our essentials we needed.

The other parts of my family love it here. It's not my favorite, but it's all about preference. Please keep that in mind moving forward. Currently, the pools are super hot even with the cooling systems on with the summer heat so it's not refreshing. We were placed in a room that is far away from everything but everything is within walking distance. However, after a long time at the parks, the struggle is sometimes real especially with little ones. There are no elevators here so that can also play a factor. We were placed on the 3rd floor. Bringing up bags, water, etc is doable for us but having the option with cart and elevators would have been less trips and strain on our backs. View out our window is beautiful. We have so much wildlife because we are near the water: variety of birds (ducks, hawks, other water birds) and the usual Florida natives. Olivia's is always a wonderful stop for food. Part of our party enjoys The Gurgling Suitcase. Again, this is all about personal preference so what I don't like, you might love.
