The rooms are currently under renovation and they need it. Once they're done, I can't wait to see them again. The proximity to Magic Kingdom and the ease of getting the monorail, even if it's raining, is key. The games in the courtyard make a resort day fun.

Disney Vacation Club members in town for a volleyball tournament. Bay Lake Tower is our home base which year's later my family still loves. Super clean and the access into the Magic Kingdom is the best on the monorail. We enjoy walking the path bypassing the crowds. While we wished there was closer access to food we prefer being away from the masses of the Contemporary. Highly recommend if looking for a top notch Disney vacation spot.

Bay lake tower is the DVC hotel next to the Contemporary, although it looks similar to the original, it's not the same. Don't get me wrong it's pretty good! Starting with the sky bridge between them, it makes the place very convenient. The place is very modern and sophisticated but in a low key sort of way. The views are wonderful and the rooms are very comfortable. The service is great. The pool is similar to its older sibling but not as nice in my opinion. The food is wonderful. For a DVC, this one is Worth it. Good and convenient parking too. Valet parking is available but parking is so convenient, it's not necessary but it's up to you... The room, if we should call it that is actually a whole apartment with a full kitchen and 3 full bathrooms, great for extended stays, just bring plenty of groceries! Lol! The best thing is it's in the middle of everything just like the original so you get on the monorail and go! This one is a no brainer! Lol!

We absolutely love staying here! I'm always blown away at how wonderful the rooms are. They are well kept and neat! We had some issues with check-in and, when we brought it up to some management, weren't taken care of and felt listened to and compensated well.

Excellent resort although limited pool space at this specific location but you can also utilize the Contemporary Resort pools also, but you'll have to walk a bit farther to them. The rooms are exceptional and large. We've had Magic Kingdom views which were fantastic for viewing fireworks and Magic Kingdom itself. Many food options at Contemporary Resort or you can travel to Polynesian or Grand Floridian on the monorail to expand your options. Great place to stay and relax and never had a bad experience. If you're going to Magic Kingdom, you can easily walk within a few minutes to the main entrance.
