The worst all-inclusive hotel I've ever been to!
We booked a full sea view room, payed extra for it and that is the main reason we chose to stay in this hotel. When we arrived they gave us a partial sea view room. It took us 3 days to get a full sea view room and a lot of trips to the reception and conversations with our travel agency. The hotel staff first claimed that the room has a full sea view (you can see for yourself in the 2 photos I have attached, one with the partial sea view and the other with a full sea view). After that they claimed that that is the room that my travel agency payed for. After 2 days of talking with the hotel staff and my agency they agreed to give us a better room. THEY GAVE US A ROOM EVEN FURTHER FROM THE SEA. That is when I went to the reception and started raising my voice so that all of the clients in the reception could hear about my problem. After that in half an hour they magically found a full sea view room. By the way, there was another group of people at the reception with the same problem.
The entertainment is so bad that we preferred to either go out and pay for our drinks (we had all-inclusive at this hotel) or just stay in the balcony and enjoy the view we had to fight for.
The food is really good, a lot of variety. The location is great, right near the beach.
So my advice is that if you do not want a sea view room this is a good place to come. If you do want a sea view room definitely not as they claim that any room that has a glimpse at the sea is a full sea view room jut to take more money.
Almost forgot, they ask you for money to change your beach towels at this all inclusive. Also there are very few sunbeds so if you want to get a decent spot you must go and place your towels before 7am.

Stayed for 4 nights in July. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly , very welcoming. Hotel on the beach with loads of space with paddle boards and pedalos for hire. If you felt like it, you don't need to go anywhere or walk anywhere for your stay. Amazing. Guests are also well behaved :)

My husband and I have visited the hotel for the first time, last year when I was pregnant and we had a great time so we decided to come back again this year but this time with our baby. We got everything we asked for, great clean and fresh room with a great view in quiet part of the hotel. The staff were super nice and always happy and communicative. Food was even better. I would always recommend this Hotel to everyone. Great location, great beach, everything is great 😊 Thank you Barcelo for the great time and beautiful memories.

I am a big fan of this hotel. Amazing location, right on the lovely beach and yet just a couple of minutes away from local shops and restaurants. The staff is adorable, helpful and accommodating, went out of their way to satisfy my requests. Special thank you to Judith and Marta. My room was stunning, very chic and super spacious, with a superb terrace. The food was lovely for a buffet and the bars are nice. Gym is open 24/7, which is rare and very handy if you want to enjoy 100% of the sun and daylight. Even if this is not an adult only hotel, it is not only centered around kids like other family friendly resorts, which means you can have a nice and restful time whilst families can equally enjoy their time with the kids. I don't usually attend the evening entertainment but here it's definitely above average and it creates a great vibe at the bar. One of my favorite Barcelo hotels for sure. Thanks everyone for making my stay special.

A fair review would be our stay was underwhelming. The amenities are technically there for a 4* but there was no wow factor in the service or amenities.
The location is fantastic and if you're just looking for a base with easy access to the beach.
The service was poor, from management. We asked for the shower head to be cleaned as it was mouldy twice on our first full day. It was still mouldy on the second day and when it was eventually cleaned it still had remnants of mould and added hairs. With the amount of time and effort it took to get the cleaners back, it wasn't worth asking again.
We weren't provided all of the information on the benefits of all inclusive plus when we checked in and when we queried the missing information, took over 2 additional visits to reception to get the information. No apology was offered and the good will gesture provided didn't recognise the time and the inconvenience it took to get a resolution. (The guest experience manager wasn't available and the managers we spoke to clearly weren't authorised to make any decisions. I heard one of the reception ladies tell their colleague that there were no notes on the system with regards to any of our original feedback)
I can honestly say if the issues that had arisen had been dealt with promptly, the review would have been better as they weren't actually huge. Mistakes happen to everyone.
Edited: Review of the all inclusive plus. The minibar is only restocked with one bottle of water per day. The exclusive sunbed area is lovely if you're not an early riser as is the option of getting a bed on the beach. Snack bar is closed at 6pm and if you wanted crisps or nuts after this time, you had to pay.
