I stayed here for two nights. The hotel’s pool connects directly to the beach, offering beautiful views. I booked a sea-view room, and the balcony overlooks the ocean—very relaxing. There are also plenty of good restaurants and night markets nearby. Housekeeping comes daily to clean the room and replace amenities. Using Grab to get to nearby attractions (like the Floating Mosque and Gurney Plaza) is fairly convenient. Although the room rate is on the higher side for George Town, I think it’s well worth it.

Because we had stayed here previously, we chose PARKROYAL Penang Resort once again to celebrate our anniversary. The main reason for selecting this hotel is its peaceful and beautiful environment, as well as its beachfront location which offers a relaxing atmosphere and a greater sense of privacy. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the hotel for the thoughtful surprise anniversary cake that was delivered to our room. It was truly a wonderful gesture. The cake was very moist and absolutely delicious, making our celebration even more memorable. However, there are a few areas that may require attention from the hotel management. The sink in the bathroom was leaking, which caused the bathroom floor to become wet. In addition, the drainage in the shower room appeared to be clogged. We hope these issues can be addressed to further improve the overall guest experience.

We recently stayed at PARKROYAL Penang Resort and had an absolutely wonderful experience. What truly made our stay memorable was the outstanding hospitality and kindness shown by the staff throughout our visit. A very special thanks to Mr. Balu, the Restaurant Manager, who treated us like family from day one until the end of our stay. He was always warm, welcoming, and smiling, constantly checking on us and guiding us on places to visit around Penang. His kindness and genuine care made every interaction special. We would also like to sincerely appreciate: • Halikuz Zaman – Guest Relations • Asvathy – Assistant Front Office Manager • Dhineswari – Guest Service Agent • Hafizul – who kindly helped our children by guiding us to nearby badminton courts and even connecting us with a coach When we faced an issue with our rooms, the team handled it very professionally and changed the rooms promptly without any inconvenience. Their responsiveness and willingness to help made our family feel extremely comfortable. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcomed and valued. It’s rare to stay at a hotel where you genuinely remember individuals for the positive impact they made on your holiday, but this team absolutely did that. Thank you to the entire PARKROYAL team for making our stay in Batu Ferringhi so pleasant, comfortable, and memorable. We truly appreciate all your efforts and look forward to visiting again soon.

Long queue during the check in and just drop the card in the box during the check out. Got refreshment drinks and kids enjoy the kids club so much. A wide variety of breakfast spreads. 10 types of sambal nasi lemak to be chosen from. Love the teh tarik and their breakfast setup was so amazing. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

I rarely gave full stars.. but here it is. Love the location, far off from the hectic traffic of penang, but close enough to what really matters when you go for a holiday : relaxing vibe and tranquility. It is located next to batu ferringhi beach, so in the evening u can just stroll along the beach to where the stalls and fireshows at. The hotel itself is easily to spot, parking free. U will be greetef with welcome drinks before coming to your rooms. Our room was perfect, well lit, clean, everything in order. Room keeping came everyday. Gym is well equipped, and every equipment in working order. Breakfast has vast menu, all is simply delicious. Pool is kepy clean, love the 2 slides. Honestly i cant find any faults. Hoped to come here again!
