We just found our annual midwinter break spot. From the movement we arrived, we were warmly greeted with yummy beverages and assigned a butler to help us answer any questions and make reservations. Aram was incredible- managed to spot us several times to throughout the resort to check in and make sure everything was fantastic. He was also so responsive on our WhatsApp messaging- made us feel so could sortable and at ease. The kids club was the MVP of the trip. Our 7 and 9 year olds immediately took the highly qualified, warm and bubbly staff. Calli, Nan, Tania, Connie, Andy and Karla were incredible. They always greeted our kids by name and made sure they had the best time with their creative activities. The got to meet friends, learn some Spanish, and we got to enjoy the adult pool and quiet dinners. We felt completely at ease and very much trusted them. They even put together a certificate and treats for their last day- we can’t wait to come back here next year-1000% recommend.

Beautiful clean hotel! I have stayed at a few all inclusives and this one has been the best. The kid’s area / waterpark was very fun and the entertainment, pool games, and live shows were great. The food was amazing for all inclusive! The restaurants were all so different and the food was delicious and unique at all of them. The poolside tacos were the best, had a new one everyday, and the smash burgers at the pool restaurant were perfect. Breakfast was great everyday and so many stations (omelettes, smoothies, quesadillas). Delicious speciality coffees too. There is a coffee shop open 24/7 which is perfect and you can get snacks there too. The drinks were high quality for all inclusive and no big lines. Margarita is an amazing breakfast hostess. Pedro is the best bartender ever and made our trip with his amazing pool drinks and service. My kids loved him and looked forward to going to the swim up bar every day because of him. Alex (pool bar and water park) was also great, friendly, very attentive and provided amazing service. Bryant was our favourite waiter! He was excellent. Christian provided wonderful service at checkout. Yesenia around the pool was lovely as well. We brought my 86 year old grandma and mobility/ accessibility was no problem. Easy to get around everywhere. Quick walk to the shops/ supermarkets across to street to get fun Mexican snacks for people back home. Sports bar was fun with big screens and pool tables (minors allowed until 10:30 too which was great). Overall it was very lovely and I would stay again / recommend! 💛 🇲🇽

We had a week here with a very large group. We had originally booked Jamaica, but the hurricane shifted those plans. The fact that this hotel was able to accommodate a group that size and deliver the customer service that they did? Absolutely unreal. We had an amazing time. We saw so many whales every single day. We never ate a bad meal. Your staff was top notch in every way. Thank you, truly!

We just stayed here for our first time and my whole family loved it! Our room was very nice with a big balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean. The service was excellent, everyone was very nice and attentive. Room service was great, pool service was and restaurant service oh and the spa service. We were very impressed by the service here. The good was so good everywhere we went and the dessert was always delicious. We can't wait to come back. My kids loved it! The girls on the kids club were so nice and playful with our kids. The beach was very beautiful and clean and so we're the pools.

Delayed review, but we had a great experience at the Hyatt Ziva between Christmas and New Year’s. As someone who knows hospitality and understands how difficult this work can be (especially over major holidays), I can’t overstate how fantastic every single member of staff was. Each team member was enthusiastic, friendly and went above and beyond with their level of service. Our dinners at Hacienda with Uziel and Casa Cortez with Margarito were consistently fantastic. Also want to give a special shout out to Luis at concierge - our family caught an absurd amount of fish throughout the week, and Luis not only coordinated with the restaurants to cook the fish for 27 person lunches & dinners, but kept two coolers of frozen fish safe for several days while we were staying in Cerritos so we could fly home with it. Thank you, Luis! Our nieces and nephews (ages 5 - 12) had the BEST time. One extremely well traveled 11 year old said that this was her favorite vacation yet! Many thanks to the whole Hyatt Ziva team.
