As a family of 4 (kids aged 6 and 9), Gran Tagoro exceeded our expectations. Great location right on the beach alongside the promenade toward Playa Blanca but we hardly left the hotel as there was so much going on. The food was really good with lots of child friendly options but plenty for the more adventurous too. The entertainment team were fantastic - Julian deserves a mention but Zac was outstanding and was the standout star staff member of the holiday for us.

Myself, my husband and our 4 children have just had 12 days at the Gran Castillo. Our stay has been amazing from start to
Finish. The place is kept very clean, with the staff working 24/7 to keep it this way. Whilst the room decor in our room was a little dated, it’s was very clean & comfortable. The food at the all inclusive buffet was lovely, with plenty of variety. I will say if you’re vegetarian, you’d maybe struggle, as the labelling isn’t always clear. The main pool is where the action takes place. The animation team works very hard to provide entertainment round the pool with Aqua fit & various ball games. Special mention to Zac, who works tirelessly & was fantastic to all our kids! The pool bar serves drinks & chips & various snacks which you can take back to your sunbeds. Shelley who works at the pool bar is fab, very friendly & always happy to help us with our Spanish. It’s a very family oriented hotel with plenty for little ones to do. We as a family, felt very safe here & very well cared for. We will definitely be back!!

We have been to Hotel Gran Tagoro Castillo 4 times now and have always had an amazing time. The rooms are good (not exceptional- there’s room for improvement, but they are clean, spacious and serve a comfortable purpose). The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to help- they have been particularly amazing in the main restaurant and the bookable Italian catering for our daughter’s dietary requirements (coeliac) with the utmost care. The food is good- there’s a nice selection of food every day and themed nights to make it fun. For us the location is perfect- a good walk from Playa Blanca town with a lovely black sand beach on it’s doorstep. There’s some fun entertainment, both poolside and in the evenings.

Animation team was great with the kids. The hotel has separate family, adults and kids areas catering for everyone. Rooms clean, food tasty, all in all great. Special mention to Aurora and Zacharias who have a really great knack with children and make them feel super welcome.
