Just superb!...that said, after nearing the end of our 12 night now, I can add: buy the meal offer, it's usually 60€ each, but if you book for 3 nights, you get it for 1/2 price, which is great value and it's an all you can eat buffet style, beware, a 1€ bottle of water will cost you 5€ in the restaurant and they really push you to buy. Rooms are cleaned daily, complimentary shower gel etc is good quality. There's no rush in the early hours to bag a great sunbed, there's loads of them so you don't need to be British about it !! Breakfast is great, again all you can eat. An on site shop would be great, it would save having to walk to the local store to buy things you need.

The hotel is overrated, and ads are not up to date. For example the mattress is in bad shape and you really feel the springs. The room is not soundproof and the noise in the hallway is often annoying. What about food? -- The hotels provides breakfast and dinner buffets which do not really change, everyday frozen food and untasty fruits. Local and fresh food is idle. the big problem is how to make yourself understood! google translate is your best friend in such a case :). I enjoyed being and eating outside, the marina is close to the hotel and there are many restaurants to enjoy local food, malls to buy goods and drinks, taxis and buses to join the downtown and are cheap. Fortunately the isle is full of stuff you can do and visit and make you enjoy your stay. I found that the hotel is beneath its reputation, too expensive for what it offers and maybe there are better locations in the isle. As i said renewal of equipment is urgent, better fresh and local food should be a priority. Overall stop considering people herds of tourists. Holidays must be enjoyed fully and unfortunately it is not my case. I do not eat beauty and do not sleep on beauty of the hotel. medium food and bad mattress are not beautiful.

Lovely hotel with great pools and excellent staff. Breakfast is outstanding. Evening buffet is limited in terms of choice, but good quality food. Drinks are expensive. Difficult to find shade around the main pool (umbrellas are fixed and only one for every two beds). Close to lots of shops and restaurants and a beautiful coastal cliff walk.

Absolutely stunningly beautiful. This hotel is amazing. From the moment you arrive. You will be amazed how clean, how helpful the staff are and how you're glad you booked to stay. 3 different pools, 3 different restaurants. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. We are BB breakfast. What a variety there is plenty for every taste. The hotel is 100m to the harbour. There are plenty of restaurants to try. This is our 3rd year of coming here, and we will be booking for 2024. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

We stayed as a family of 5 with my 3 teenagers for a short stay of 5 nights at the Livvo Volcan Hotel in July and all in all it was a nice experience. We went for breakfast only following some other travellers review. I dont regret our choice, as the hotel is very well situated near the marina with a lot of food options, which turn out cheaper and gives you more variety than the restaurant of the hotel which is good but very repetitive and in my opinion overpriced. Speaking of the local restaurants, if you avoid the cheap touristy places, you can find very nice gems, but i would recommend to book as they are small and get busy quickly and we were turned down a few times. On the positive side: First of all, the hotel is on a very large estate and very clean and we only saw cockroaches twice during our all stay which is an achievement as this seems to be a problem on the island. The main pool is really nice, very large and at the perfect temperature. There are plenty of loungers scattered around the hotel, even if you need to go early for the best spots. There are a few other pools as well for children and smaller ones away from the main one if you fancy a more calm sun bedding. There is a pool bar with many drinks and food options which is decent. The rooms are very clean and spacious (we went for 2 double rooms with garden view), with everything you need for crashing at night : okay beds, a very efficient aircon, a big flat TV screen, a sofa and table, a small terrace for enjoying the morning sun before the temperature gets too hot, and a decent bathroom. The buffet breakfast is enjoyable with plenty of options. We were going at 9am where it was mostly empty, but even if you go at 09:30am during peak time, the team manages to clean tables very efficiently so you dont have to wait. The checkin/checkout was very efficient and they carry your luggage to your room, which was much appreciated as i mentioned the hotel is situated on a vast estate on a hill with a lot of stairs. On the negative sides: these are small little things that could have made our stay better. Small details in the rooms: the telephone of one the rooms was not connected, despite us raising to the reception, it was never fixed. We needed it once to reach the reception. The minibar was not connected to the power (not a big deal, we plugged it in ourselves). Overall, the service is not very friendly (except some of the pool life guards), and the staff is efficient but dont really care much. For example, we found a piece of glass in one of our drink at the pool bar, and we didnt feel we were taken seriously at all. We had to insist and speak to the manager who answered to us, but didnt seem to consider the health and safety problem that this was. To clear any doubt, we didnt want any compensation for this, only to be reassured they were taking all the measures so that it doesn't happen again, and the manager was not very convincing. Anyhow, nobody was hurt and all ended well, I am just mentioning this in the context of the service. There is very little shade near the pool, which is great for people trying to sunbed, but not if you have a fragile skin (like myself and 2 of my children) considering the sun here is scorching hot. There are a few spots with loungers near the main pool under the shade, but you really need to come early (08:30am) to be able to use them. All in all, a very good stay, nice hotel, this is not a luxury hotel but ticks many boxes and we were not disappointed. I dont know if we will come again in Lanzarote, but we would definitely consider this hotel if we do.
