The Diamonds Mapenzi Beach Zanzibar all-inclusive concept includes the following:

  • Welcome cocktail
  • Breakfast (7.30am to 10am), lunch (1pm to 3pm) and dinner (7.30pm to 10pm) at the Palm Restaurant
  • Non-alcoholic drinks, fruit juices, local beer, selected wines, water, tea and coffee served during meals
  • Light lunch at the beach
  • Snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, fruit juices, local beer, selected wines, tea, coffee and mineral water served at the Hibiscus Pool Bar (10am to 12 midnight). Spirits are subject to an additional charge. The bar is open until 1am, with a charge for all drinks after midnight
  • Snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, fruit juices and beer served at the Upepo Beach Bar (10am to 6pm)
  • Aqua aerobics, stretching, canoeing (30 minutes per day), beach volleyball, beach football, table tennis, darts, indoor games, evening entertainment programme and disco

Top hotel with premium service. We stayed there nearly 3 weeks as family and enjoyed every minute. Very nice ambiente, super dining, … Highlight are the people working there, fully commited to perfect customer care, lovely to kids. F.e. management Ally, restaurant waiter Mohammed, or Kasim, and many other very helpful members of the Diamonds team made our stay a great time! Thanks!

A huge thank you to Anna, David, and Dr. Irene for their incredible help with my foot injury. I unfortunately cut my foot quite badly on a seashell in the ocean. Anna, the F&B supervisor, was the first to come to my aid and quickly called for additional support. David from the recreation team arrived with a first aid kit and, since my foot was bleeding, he even carried me on his back all the way to the hotel clinic. It was quite a distance, and both he and Anna went above and beyond to make sure I was safe. Their care and kindness were truly touching. I was also very grateful that Diamond Mapenzi has an onsite clinic, which isn’t something every hotel offers. Dr. Irene treated me right away, carefully cleaning and stitching the wound. She was both highly professional and wonderfully compassionate throughout the process. I’m deeply thankful for the exceptional care, kindness, and professionalism I received. It made a difficult situation so much easier and left me with a very positive impression of the team and the hotel. In addition, the hotel has amazing beach view with about 50-100 meters of white sand bank from the shore. The water is waist level. Food was really good. I particularly enjoyed the food made by a Chef from Sri Lanka.

The hotel is very nice with nice staff specjał thank to Recreation team Jamal, Janeth, Kassim, Jennifa yoga lady and we all love them and made our stay being great. The reception team arę very good specia Amina she went above and Beyond. Food is very delicious and drinks arę really good special thank to Hamada and Lightness for their wonderful services. Room are spacious and immaculates hopeful to back again.

Rooms were not ready on arrival due to incorrect allocation given. Staff were amazing. They greet and attend to you so well. Heriete who is one of the animation staff was outstanding. Her ability to start up conversations with all the different foreigners is amazing. Her love for children is beautiful. The food was edible but bland and quite oily. Only one restaurant to eat from The cakes were extremely tasteless except for my birthday cake and one night of creme caramel which was divine. They are due to renovate the hotel and quite honestly they need it. The one rail leading up to the restaurant is loose and dangerous to use. Aircon needs servicing. The door to the room was so hard to open and close. Gorgeous position and views. I wish we had done more homework when we booked. This is my experience and my personal opinion
