  • Breakfast (7.30am to 10am), lunch (1pm to 3pm) and dinner (7.30pm to 10pm) at the Palm Restaurant
  • Non-alcoholic drinks, fruit juices, local beer, selected wines, water, tea and coffee served during meals
  • Light lunch at the beach
  • Snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, fruit juices, local beer, selected wines, tea, coffee and mineral water served at the Hibiscus Pool Bar (10am to 12 midnight). Spirits are subject to an additional charge. The bar is open until 1am, with a charge for all drinks after midnight
  • Snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, fruit juices and beer served at the Upepo Beach Bar (10am to 6pm)
  • Aqua aerobics, stretching, canoeing (30 minutes per day), beach volleyball, beach football, table tennis, darts, indoor games, evening entertainment programme and disco

A beautiful place with a magical atmosphere. The beach is also very nice, and the tide phenomenon is very interesting, but not disturbing. The hotel staff is very friendly. The food is very delicious and varied, and there are themed days, which is a great idea. The room is spacious, bright, clean, and well-furnished, and the bed is large and comfortable. It was wonderful to be here."

If someone tells me that paradise doesn't exist, I'll send them straight to Mapenzi! There, you don't need Instagram filters, everything is like a postcard, only... it smells and tastes better! Cleanliness? I don't know who the lady is who cleans our room every day, but she should be giving courses to the whole world. The room was sparkling like something from a cleaning product advert - and every day! Even the sand from the beach was afraid to go inside. And the bathroom? You could have an operation there - so sterile! Food? Oh please, can you fall in love with a buffet? Because I just experienced the romance of a lifetime with mango, curry and seafood. Every meal was a culinary safari - new flavours, spices and smiling chefs who cook like they're for family. And I don't know what they add to the desserts, but it's probably happiness in powder. Room? Cosy, atmospheric and always cool - like a drink with a palm tree. A comfortable bed, a mosquito net like from a princess fairy tale and a balcony from which we looked at the stars in the evenings (and at the monkeys in the mornings – seriously, neighbors with character!). A beach? From the category: “Watch out! You can fall in love!” White sand like flour, palm trees casting a perfect shadow on the hammock, and the ocean… simply such a color that you can't believe your eyes. Most importantly – the beach is as clean as a ballroom every day. And that moment when the tide takes everything and you walk on water… oh my! To sum up: Mapenzi is not a hotel – it's a state of mind. The vacation of a lifetime, a total reset and the most beautiful memories you can dream of. If anyone is wondering – stop. Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and excellent service!

Rooms were not ready on arrival due to incorrect allocation given. Staff were amazing. They greet and attend to you so well. Heriete who is one of the animation staff was outstanding. Her ability to start up conversations with all the different foreigners is amazing. Her love for children is beautiful. The food was edible but bland and quite oily. Only one restaurant to eat from The cakes were extremely tasteless except for my birthday cake and one night of creme caramel which was divine. They are due to renovate the hotel and quite honestly they need it. The one rail leading up to the restaurant is loose and dangerous to use. Aircon needs servicing. The door to the room was so hard to open and close. Gorgeous position and views. I wish we had done more homework when we booked. This is my experience and my personal opinion
