Good location if a little bit isolated, there are cafes and a small seafront with shops etc nearby. The hotel beach is quite nice and the grounds lush and well kept. The rooms are nice but show signs of age, loose toilets, doors that come off runners and key locks that don't always work first or second time... Beds are large and very comfortable plus the staff in general are exceptionally nice. I would stay again.

lovely place, needs a bit of maintenance i.e pool, and tiles being broken/ washing the curtains on the pool cabanas, however, it’s really nice, Liz was one of my favourite. I do not recommend eating there the prices are so expensive and not worth it, go down to the blue wave or sawasdee, instead of 1,000thb pp, it fed our whole family. However the hotel staff are amazing so accommodating and friendly, we got a room upgrade easily. the scenary and surrounding area is quiet and peaceful perfect for relaxing they have a hotel shuttle that runs from 08:00-24:00, with a little markets the locals go to which is nice.
i just cannot stress, i cannot recommend the staff there enough the ladies out front did everything to accommodate they were so nice
Maggie!! - book your excursions through her she is so lovely, she booked us onto a canoe trip which blew us away, she’s so helpful friendly and so cheerful!
final rating: 7/10!
thank you!!

I wasn’t expecting to be so amazed by the beauty of this hotel. When I was on my way I was slightly nervous however upon arrival I really enjoyed my stay. The service was amazing I made friends with lots of the service crew and wish them all the best. The rooms were cleaned daily and they cleaned the rooms incredibly thoroughly. The rooms are honestly better than what you see on the photos. The food was also great! You will also find booking boat trips or tables is very easy as you just go to reception. The nature you will see here is incredible with a chance to see water monitors (Komodo dragons) along with wild life on the beach (such as hermit crabs and jelly fish) and on the boat trips (we saw wild monkeys up close).

This hotel leaves me confused. On one hand, it is a very beautiful and calm location to relax, on the other side the rooms are very outdated and the ACs are very loud!
It is a 5 star hotel, but the service is most likely 3 star, the staff was very friendly indeed.
This hotel is wasting a lot of potential for this location and what they already have.
The food was mostly very good.
Not worth the price in this state. If you are looking for relaxing and calm beach holiday, it may be something for you, but mind the loud AC.

I've read about the outdated furniture, smell, bad service, breakfast isn't spectacular and so on. Those who are complaining are types that can never be pleased.
I'm happy with the room. There are series of different rooms and locations. A nice strong breeze up and down the corridor heading to the rooms. There are a few nice and beautiful look out points and the beach is quite nice. The hills are steep, but what do one expect? There are shuttles that will take you around and down. There are a few massage parlour close by and a few restaurants.
I've heard about the other restaurants there and was told the food wasn't very good. It was from other Thai patrons that told us. The breakfast had many good selections of fresh food, incredible croissants, omelets and more western style food.
Furnishings in the room and throughout the facility is just fine for the type of hotel. Lovely plants and flowers throughout. Impossible to keep all the leaves picked up.
I would love to stay at this place again.
It's not stuffy and modern that doesn't seem comfortable. I would highly recommend this place.
