My partner and I originally booked Avista Hideaway for just 4 nights and 5 days, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay to a full month. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Usha, who gave us a lovely tour and even arranged an early check-in. She was so kind and welcoming throughout our entire stay.The front desk team were always helpful and attentive, and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The resort’s landscape is stunning—lush greenery surrounds the property, offering serene views of the ocean and a peaceful atmosphere that made us feel far removed from the hustle and bustle of Patong, even though it's conveniently nearby. The complimentary shuttle service made it easy to enjoy both tranquility and the vibrant energy of the town. Breakfast was always a delight, with kind and attentive service each morning, greeted with warm and friendly smiles.We also appreciated the spacious, clean, and well-equipped gym, which was a great bonus for longer stays. Another highlight was having two renowned Phuket restaurants—Sizzle and Tambu—right on-site. We had some truly memorable meals without ever needing to leave the resort. Avista Hideaway was the perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and convenience. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’re already looking forward to returning!

Yes the decor is dated (00’s looking) but you get what you’ve paid for at this price point, so I can’t fault that. Bugs however can be an issue, particularly if you are staying in a room connected to the garden. Rated down on this point. The place is secluded and quiet. I acknowledge that a Grab ride to Patong beach can be costly to some. Again I can’t fault that - it’s your choice to pick this resort. Staff at the main pool are friendly! Good drinks and great smile. Management staff are courteous and helpful. But that’s really it, the front desk isn’t particularly easy to deal with. A seasoned traveller will find the team a little unsure at times. Try to get breakfast by 8:30 am, that’s when the wait staff look a lot less stressed. Shout out to the guys at Sizzle - had a very good meal there.

We had a fantastic 2-week stay at Avista Hideaway Phuket – 9/10. Beautiful location on a quiet hillside surrounded by lush greenery. Staff were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve experienced – huge selection of fruits, hot dishes, omelets, pastries, and fresh juices. We received a free upgrade to a spacious hillside room with a king-size bed, large bathroom with tub and shower, and a balcony overlooking the pool. Some minor wear and tear – loose tiles, slow drainage, and poor soundproofing – but nothing that ruined the experience. Hotel has 3 serene pools with bars, a well-equipped gym, and a nearby laundry service (50 baht/kg). May is rainy season with high humidity, so drying clothes takes time. Highly recommended!

Totally appropriate name for this absolute gem of a hotel nestled in the hills just outside vibrant Patong. The rooms, staff, service, food and drinks were incredibly good. Everyone works so hard to ensure their guests have the very best stay possible. Breakfast was tasty and varied with an amazing choice of food available. Absolutely love the Avista and cannot wait to return later this year and early next. There's little wonder it gets booked up as it's simply perfect. My thanks go to all the amazingly dedicated staff for a wonderful stay.

We had the most amazing experience here. The resort is extremely beautiful, the rooms feel luxurious and are very big, they have 3 beautiful infinity pools and 3 restaurants that are amazing. During the afternoon I was craving pancakes, but they didn’t have it in the menu, however they did some specially for me. Everything we wanted, they would make sure we would get. All the staff was extremely hospital, everyone was smiling and was trying to help you. We actually spent all 3 days inside the resort because it was that good 😊
