We had a pleasant stay at the Avista, stunning hotel with really lovely pool areas. Great food and drink. Gorgeous room and very comfortable. Great location - easy access to Patong if you fancy the hustle and bustle for far enough away to escape it. Sizzle and Tambu both excellent restaurants and again with great settings. Only negatives I would say is wine is expensive but we found this in other areas of Phuket as well (particularly Patong) and there did seem to be some bias towards other nationalities. Public areas of the hotel could be quite noisy at night - it would be good if the hotel could remind guests to be quiet in these areas. Also adult pool area too small - a larger area would be great.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel’s dining room, and we especially want to thank Abu for his outstanding service. From the very first day, Abu went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. He showed genuine concern for our baby, always checking in to see if we needed anything and making sure she was comfortable. His personal attention made a huge difference in our stay. We truly felt seen and valued as guests, and it was clear that Abu takes great pride in his work. He consistently looked out for us, anticipated our needs, and served us with a warm smile. Abu’s kindness, professionalism, and dedication created a special atmosphere for our family. We are very grateful for his exceptional service and highly appreciate everything he did for us. Absolutely amazing experience! The service was outstanding and the food was incredibly delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavor. But what truly made our evening special was our waitress, Tip. Tip was so kind, attentive and caring. She literally runs to help you, making sure everything is perfect and that you feel comfortable. Her energy, warmth and professionalism made the whole evening not just pleasant, but truly unforgettable. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back 🤍

Overall great experience close to local shops, walking distance from 7-Eleven. The hotel itself was very clean, the rooms they kept clean. The staff was very helpful whenever I needed something in the room they responded promptly. The only thing I’m maybe had a little problem with was having to use the buggy service (golf cart) to and from the lobby in order to get to your room. Sometimes that would take longer than I would have liked, but again small dislike. The staff was super friendly. I don’t think I encountered not one rude staff member. Everyone was just willing to be of any help. Our room gave us access to breakfast buffet in the morning, and the food was actually not bad, it could’ve had a better selection, but still with what they had it was actually a lot. If I were to ever visit again, I would definitely have this hotel as a strong consideration. Maybe not best for a group of friends, but more so families, couples, even solo travelers.

We stayed at Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong while traveling as a family of three and had mixed experiences overall. The restaurant and food were good, and the staff were friendly and polite; however, they were clearly very busy, especially during the holiday season. We booked and paid full price months in advance for a Deluxe Family Room for three adults, but upon arrival the room was not prepared accordingly—there were missing towels, robes, and amenities for the third guest. Despite several requests to the front desk and housekeeping, the robes were never delivered during our stay. The hotel location is beautiful and peaceful, and we appreciated the opportunity to explore a different side of Phuket. However, during peak season the overall operations did not feel well managed for a property marketed as a five-star hotel. Having stayed at another five-star hotel in Phuket for five days prior, the difference in service consistency and amenities was noticeable, and Avista felt closer to a four-star experience. We value high-quality service and are good tippers, so this was disappointing. I hope this feedback helps the hotel improve guest preparedness and service standards, especially during busy periods.
