Wow wow wow what can I say to do this superb hotel justice. What an incredible experience we have had during our stay at the kalima resort and spa. The staff are friendly, welcoming and always so smiley. The pool has amazing views, we watched the sunset multiple times with was a nice way to end the days. Sunloungers get busy, noticed a few people putting towels down before breakfast but you get that everywhere! We got to beds at around 9.30ish and had no problem getting one. The food is impeccable and faultless, we dined at the rooftop bar twice and what an experience! We witnessed 3 birthdays and one proposal it was so magical. The breakfast had such a good selection, In all the hotels we have stayed on this trip ( 5 hotels so far) this breakfast is by far our favourite. The room is clean, always refilled with clean sun loungers towels and complimentary waters etc etc. They have bags for you to use for towels etc for sunloungers aswell as flip-flops and robes. The location of hotel is about 15minute drive to patong beach, its rather busy on the roads with hardly any pedestrian pavement so unable to walk from hotel to patong strip however there is a free hotel shuttle bus or a grab is 200 thai baht each way. Overall what a gorgeous hotel, we will definitely return but for longer next time! If your looking for a chilled place with good views get this place booked.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3.5/5 – Beautiful Resort With Amazing Views, but Some Important Details Missed We recently stayed at Kalima Resort & Spa to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. We were given a room with a stunning view, and the bell boys were extremely helpful throughout our stay. Housekeeping was also kind, polite, and attentive, which we truly appreciated. We chose Kalima because we wanted a special place for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. We booked a table at the Malika Restaurant and requested a nice view for our anniversary dinner. Unfortunately, this part was disappointing. Although we were a group of just 3, we were seated at a table clearly set up for a much larger group (around 6 people), which felt odd and took away the intimate atmosphere we hoped for. The dish I ordered, the risotto, was also too hard and dry, and I couldn’t finish even half. Another issue was with my clothes for our special dinner. I requested for an iron from both the front office and housekeeping, but I did not receive a reply or any follow-up at all. Because of this, I had to change to an alternative outfit last minute, which was quite disappointing on such an important day. Aside from these issues, our overall stay was pleasant. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of options, and the rest of the resort facilities were enjoyable. We will still consider returning to Kalima when we visit Phuket again, as the resort has many wonderful aspects. However, we truly hope the management improves attention to small — but very important — details, especially when guests are celebrating meaningful occasions.

Kalima is well situated at Patong, enough to be close enough for a 10 minute taxi ride to Bangla Road and Patong beach, but far away enough to be on a quiet and secluded area of Phuket. Noodang was very helpful at breakfast, ensuring we had our needs catered to. Breakfast was very busy after 9.30 am, but the selection was still good. The grounds are pretty and the pool was decent. We stayed in one of the private villas and the room was brilliant. The housekeeping staff were also great. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a 5* resort around Patong area.

What a fantastic hotel, even when the weather was not good during our November stay. The views are great, the room's pool is fantastic and the service warm and friendly. The staff never had a bad face for us even when we requested constant trips up and down from our room and many instances of room service. Lovely and diverse breakfast buffet with choice of Thai, Japanese, French, fruits, smoothies, etc. I was particularly impressed by the housekeeping and their daily towel art. What a beautiful thing to find.

We had an excellent stay at Kalima for 9 nights. The buffet breakfast was a highlight with Noodang and Deedee looking after us every morning. They were both very friendly and always wanted to ensure our holiday was going well. The room was beautiful and all the facilities were stunning. Baw was very helpful with our bags upon arrival and departure, making our experience seamless. Highly recommend if you’re ever travelling to Phuket!
