Nice & Clean room. My stay went as planned and was comfortable. However be aware, the parking deck charged my card $20 every entry when it is supposed to pay for the whole day. Had to call and wait for $60 worth of refunds. Then check out , I was charged an additional $80. I requested an early check in at the desk but NOT an-upgraded room . Had to make several calls for the hotel to understand they made a mistake. In the end, I got all my money and the stay was nice but use a debit card you can lock or review purchases from . So you don’t wake up missing $140 like I did.

So far I’ve talked to 5 people and I still have a dirty room. I’ve been polite to everyone I’ve talked to (maybe that’s the problem?) and there’s been nothing but can kicking.
It’s now 11:39pm. I’ve been asking for a blanket and for housekeeping to come clean the room I just checked into today, that was dirty upon my arrival, and when I called again to check on the status of the blanket the latest person I talked to had no record of our previous conversations.
I just want to go to bed. And no one at this hotel cares. But it’s literally their job.
UPDATE: 12:25 am. They have called me and advised they are out of blankets.
Cons
- dirty room
- out of blankets
- disorganized staff
- slow response time
- terrible customer service
- expensive for value received. The discounts offered for booking here are lackluster.
- people try to stop you in the hallways in the casino floor and sell you additional “discounted” tickets in a predatory manner.
- the room I’m staying in is woefully underwhelming. I travel a lot. I’ve been in nicer Motel 6’s. I wish I was in one now. I bet I’d have my blanket
- Have not showered yet. Will update with water pressure.
- toilet paper is low quality
- you want a hair dryer? That’s too bad: they’re all “checked out.”
Pros
-… at least the building hasn’t fallen in?

Stayed at this hotel twice on two different trips. The room was good, but the AC unit was very loud , and the sink was clogged when we checked into the room. The place charge about 50 dollars a day resort fee, but they close the pool when there is a little wind. There are plenty of better options in the vicinity. I won't be going back to the STRAT again unfortunately.

Stayed there after Valentine's Day/Superbowl. We got a pretty good price for the room. We arrived there around midnight. I noticed immediately that the check-in process was slow. With about 30 people in line it took us around an hour to check in.
When we arrived at the room we noticed that it would not cool down below 75° even when we set it as cool as it could get. There were also some cleanliness issues with the room. There was a half eaten donut still sitting on the bathroom counter and it looked like someone had poured salt into one of the drawers. The rest of the room was in good order.
Overall the rest of the stay went fairly well. The casino floor was nicely maintained. It looks like many of the shops near the tower had closed up with only about half being in operation. Those shops that were still operating were clean and not run down.

We had a wonderful time. Hubby had reservations for the restaurant. They had us wait at the bar until our reservation time. Everything was nice. At first they said the tower was not rotating that night but it ended up starting to rotate when we were about to leave. Food was great except the lobster Mac, it was missing salt.
