We absolutely loved our stay in an ocean view overwater villa. The resort was located an easy 20 min speed boat ride from Male airport with pick-up and drop off seamlessly undertaken. Our GEM was easy and flexible to work with our comms style and looked after us. The rest of the resort’s staff were kind and genuine in their engagement with us. The food was simply the best I have had at any resort and the chef and team should be proud. The view from our villa was gorgeous and we enjoyed cycling around the island. We already want to return and have recommended others to visit SO/.

I had a wonderful stay at SO/ Maldives. The resort is extremely clean, beautifully designed, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. A special thank you to Ms. Maria for her kindness and exceptional hospitality — she truly made our stay even more memorable. Also, big thanks to Coach Abdo for the fun sports sessions, and to the Kids Club team for their lovely activities that my children really enjoyed. An amazing paradise only 15 mins by speedboat from Malé international airport. Every aspect was perfect from the fabulous food, and perfect facilities to the AMAZING staff that absolutely make this place feel so special. Every single member of the staff team were extremely friendly and helpful. They all made our stay so perfect. But a few standouts require particular mention: Sue our GEM (Guest Experience Manager) looked after us perfectly. We could not have wished to meet such a caring, friendly and kind young lady who provided impeccable service, always with a smile. Thank you Sue for making our stay quite perfect. Luna, Mahudhee and Ashraf on the restaurant team always took time to speak with us, showed a genuine interest and offered kind and friendly advice. They are an asset to the staff team. Lastly, to the chefs that produced the most amazing food with delicate flavours and local influences. Having lived previously in Paris for over 4 years we could even say that the pâtisseries and cakes here were better than any we had experienced before. Well done SO/ Maldives, you were the best. Everything about the accommodation has been thoughtfully considered. The over water bungalows are wonderful, comfortable and have everything you could possibly need. They are gorgeously designed and you will absolutely love everything about it if you stay here. The island is almost too perfect but it is a man made island in the Maldives. The pool is great, the gym is great, the dining areas and water sports are fabulous. I love the bikes they give you to ride around. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was when they are spraying the bugs. It is good that there are no flying things on the island but if you bike ride into the plume of smoke it isn’t pleasant. It only happens once a day just make sure you are not nearby when they do it. It is a wonderful experience regardless.

Maria and Chef Robbie have been truly exceptional. My entire family had a wonderful and memorable time. Their level of care and service is unbelievable. We had a fantastic stay at SO Maldives, and all credit goes to Maria and Robbie. We will 10000% return. Going to miss you both!
