First time experiencing a SALA property for our recent honeymoon. We absolutely loved it! We stayed in a garden side pool villa after having to change hotels at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances and couldn’t have been happier. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Everything is cleaned twice a day (unless specified do not disturb) with the rooms smelling lovely & the staff take note of when you’re out of your room/going to breakfast to do the cleans so to not disturb you. The pool is clean & very photogenic with plenty of shade throughout the whole day. You even get a nightly tea made and dropped off to your room. They knew it was our honeymoon so we were also greeted with a sparkling wine & some room decoration on arrival which made it very special. They also provided a guide in the room of helpful information but also some common Thai greetings & practices that we found very helpful & informative. If staying in the garden side, you do need to cross the road as mentioned in other reviews, however there is a crossing supervisor there which makes it so easy, my partner & I didn’t find it a problem. The walk to Chaweng central is about 15 minutes via the street, SALA is in a great spot. Plenty of things to offer within the hotel, being a 2 for 1 cocktail happy hour right on the beach, multiple restaurants (The tent & we had breakfast daily at the Sexy Fish) both delicious. However if you do feel like venturing out, everything is in walking distance. Transport available everywhere if needed too! Check in & check out were both seamless & we look forward to attending another hotel in the future.

Photogenic Hotel. Pool villa is located across the road from Beach front building. Great design in every corner of the property. The room is spotless clean with twice a day room making, aromatic stove lights up, and a little plate of dessert serves by the evening. It's not my first time staying with SALA, and the service I mentioned above makes SALA outstanding. The wooden floor by the pool is a bit wearoff, maintenance will improve it. There are 2 big swimming pools in the property and the beach. Breakfast is good, great atmosphere but It can be crowded. Great table service.

We had a wonderful stay, the space was beautiful and cared for greatly by the staff. We loved the pool and enjoyed the privacy of our villa. Our bathtub was filled with flower petals on arrival and a cute little teddy and happy honeymoon sign was displayed. A chilled bottle of bubbles was delivered shortly after. So lovely! Daily breakfast was delicious and nightly tea blend deliveries were a thoughtful extra touch. The rooms always smelt amazing and were made up when we left for the day. Walking through the resort we were constantly, warmly greeted by staff. Beach bar, sexy fish and the tent were so delicious, welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. It was unfortunate at check out we were looked after by a rather rude and accusatory staff member which left a bit of a sour taste in our mouth. Someone charged a meal to our room, it wasn’t signed for and it wasn’t us. It took some time to rectify and we were spoken too quite poorly. I notice other reviewers have commented on similar. The only issue dropping what would have been a 5/5 experience.

Literally amazing from start to finish and absolutely worth the money. The service is fantastic, everyone is so friendly and can't do enough for you. The room - we had a Sala Pool Villa - was phenomenal, so clean and beautiful. The food at the Tent is incredible, so tasty and fresh, outstanding. The location is beautiful and the beach is clean, and convenient to get to other areas of the island!

Incredible place to stay with wonderful staff and facilities. You can’t do better than SALA if you’re staying on Samui. The breakfast is delicious and the choice of ordering to room or visiting the buffet is a huge plus. We stayed in a room with a private pool and it was so wonderful.
