Update: there's some bizarre billing behaviour from this hotel with respect to credit card activities. They will initially put a hold on your cc when you check in for the room+security hold. When you check out a second pending charge will go on your card without dropping the initial hold. The result is that you will likely have thousands of dollars of spending room on your credit card gobbled up for days and possibly up to over half a week if you check out just before a weekend. Unsure if this is bad behaviour or incompetence.

It's good. Rooms are decent size and clean. Currently a bunch of roadwork being done outside of the hotel at night which is unfortunate but not too loud. If you want a quieter room pick the ones closer to the rear lane.

Perfect location! just a few steps from the subway, walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Front desk Mabel was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I enjoyed chatting with her. I had a fantastic stay!

Great location with very good transportation.
Check in was quick, the staff was friendly.
The room is on the smaller side just like anything in NYC, but clean, and had all amenities.
Bathroom was good with great pressure. The bed was comfortable.
Has a restaurant attached, used for breakfast, it was ok, bit pricey.

I visited a friend there and the rooms are comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need to shower with. The staff was very friendly and it's located right at the Canal Street subway station where the A and E trains are located.

We just stayed here this week from Sat to Thurs and had a very nice stay. Amberly at the front desk was very nice and helpful, the room was clean, plenty of hot water, ample counter space in the bathroom, the continental breakfast was a good variety of Danish, fruits, yogurts, cereals, coffee and juices, the location is great and the subway is right out your door, Starbucks is very close by. Our room was quiet from the outside noises. My only negative is we had to wait over an hour at check-in. I would definitely stay here again.
