Just stayed here for a week and it was perfect. We got a room upgrade. The rooms have everything you need and more and the beautiful manicured lawns are so peaceful. There is plenty of day and night entertainment if you want it and it isn't intrusive if you don't want it. The elderly resident cat in the lobby was the cherry on the cake for me! Would recommend

Excellent hotel with fantastic amenities, pool areas are clean and not too busy. Snacks are pretty standard and drinks are only slightly dearer than outside bars. Hotel is walking distance from most areas, Yumbo, Irish Sector, Cita and beaches.

I don't normally do reviews but for this hotel I had to! We booked for 5 nights as 7 not available on the Internet. Asked reception when we got here and they were so incredibly welcoming! They asked us to call the second day and they had sorted for us! Amazing and they remembered my children's names and made us feel very welcome! We are here mid Feb and every pool is warm! The breakfast is great and loads of choice. We have a 2 bed apartment and it has everything we need. The mini diso is great for younger children and the staff are brilliant. Iys also a 15 min walk to Play Del Ingles and about 2 minutes to the Yumbo centre. I highly recommend this hotel. It is so much better than the hotel grand princess we stayed at last year (just me and hubby) I would go as far to say this is one of our all time favourite hotels witn children or not (We have stayed at a lot).

I can keep this review really short; this place is amazing! We stayed here for 11 days and loved every single day of it. The staff is really friendly, the facilities are amazing and the vibe is really relaxed. Normally we wouldn't come back to the same accommodation, because we like to experience new things, but Barbacan might actually make us visit again next year! We highly recommend this to everybody!
