This is one of the best holiday hotels we have stayed in ! The location is superb and all the staff are fantastic. Special thanks to Patrick, Francisca and Jule they were wonderful. The rooms were large well equipped and clean . It was very spacious with a large balcony and the most amazing views . The whole experience was fantastic. We truly can’t praise all the staff enough , they were all fantastic. As far as the pool goes it was beautiful with the best views you could imagine. The food was great along with all the staff in the dining room. A truly great experience and a great venue

Brilliant hotel, staff are very welcoming and helpful. The place is kept immaculate. We stayed in the presidential suite and it was perfect for me and the misses and 2 teenagers. The food is really good. You definitely get value for money and the service is spectacular. The views around the hotel are great. We highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be coming back. Yes the main entrance isn't open at the moment due to some work going on but it make very little difference to your stay. We found it quite handy to come up in the lift from the road. It made sense. The gym has enough to give you a workout. Its not stacked with equipment but it does the job. The Spa is good too. We had a massage and it was brilliant. So enjoy and treat yourselves to an amazing stay at the Gloria palace royal. You will love it.

Half wonderful, Half meh. June 2024 Pros: the amazing friendly, helpful, multilingual staff. The rooms are very large and spotless. The views from the hotel are top notch. Just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and small stores. You have a choice of 2 pools; one lively and one very peaceful. Cons: the All-Inclusive package is a fraud. You will quickly find many things are not included. Drinks yes included and they are decent. Food; you will eat what when and where they tell you. The food is mass produced resort food. We left a couple times to get a delicious meal at the beach. The pool has many sun chairs and umbrellas but most are reserved with a towel and the people never come. There is nobody monitoring this situation. Half wonderful, skip the all inclusive package. Bring lots of sunblock.

Reading all the good reviews was really excited to visit Gloria Palace Royal but after the arrival was immediately disappointed by the customer service. Hotel has got amazing views and good day entertainment and that is all the good things I can say about it. I was travelling with my family, 2 adults and two children, all inclusive. Firstly when we arrived, after 5h flight, they couldn’t accommodate us to the joined room which was promised before. After one night we had to move all the luggage to another room (no valet to help you with the luggage and we were out of the room for 2h till check in time). You need to be extremely patient as you wait constantly to be served by the bar staff, there are no bracelets so you need to scan the card every time you want to order something (when you’re all inclusive). The card gets faulty a lot so you need to go to the reception to get a new one or fix the one you have. Snack bar only serves food to the table, you cannot take it with you to the sun lounge. There is no smoking area so people smoke next to you at the pool area, when you’re eating, also next to the young children pool. Entertainment at night is very poor, during our 7 day stay we haven’t experienced anything interesting. The food was nice but very poor choice. When you’re with the bigger party you cannot sit at the table with the view as it’s only for 2 people. Lastly on our departure date, we had late transfer and we could not use our card to order drinks at the bar or restaurant despite constant visits to the reception desk. Manager was blaming anyone else but the restaurant and the restaurant did not seem to bother with getting us anything to drink till we finished our meal. Last day should be as easy and relaxing as possible whereas for us it was extremely frustrating and stressful. Overall value for money was very bad.

We stayed here for a week. The hotel is well-located, just a 5-minute walk to a supermarket and 5 to 10 minutes to the beach. Keep in mind that the hotel is situated in a hilly area, so it might not be convenient if you have mobility issues. The rooms are spacious, and I recommend getting a room with a sea view because the view of the beach and the mountain is beautiful! The cleaners do a good job and the staff is friendly. The water pressure from the shower & toilet is very weak. There are two large outdoor pools and an indoor pool, which is great since it was cold on some days during our stay. The food, especially the dinner (buffet style) and the snack bar, is very poor. We ate at the restaurant on the first night because we arrived late. The food was either very dry, overcooked, or not seasoned. The vegetables, in particular, were cooked as if for elderly people without teeth. Once, we ordered a salami pizza from the snack bar. You can't really call it a pizza. It was so soft and dripping with grease... The breakfast restaurant is nothing special. The basic offerings include various types of bread, sweet and savory spreads, cereals, different kinds of (plant-based) milk, eggs (boiled/fried/scrambled), beans in tomato sauce, bacon, (different daily) sausages, and a different vegetable each day (peppers, broccoli, zucchini). The food is not seasoned, but basics like salt and pepper are available. All in all, a good hotel with a great location, but don't expect good hotel food. Fortunately, there are good restaurants at the beach and in the immediate area.
