Me and my partner went here for a short getaway. Definitely worth it. Room was lovely and spacious with the clean bathtub in the room. We also got the fruit and drink (got junior suite). The little added amenities were really nice touch and added to our stay. Would be good if reiterated on booking that if you add the spa into the room you need to book this prior to entering spa (all depends on availability). The spa itself was really good and lots of different areas and pools to go too. Only other thing would say that it is a 4* and as such would have expected the area under the bed to be cleaned once in a while. It was full of dust. The location is good and there's a good few restaurants close by on the beach front which is only a short walk away. It also has private parking. Will definitely re-visit

The room was not very clean, they didn’t even clean it the next day. The worker at the reception is not the most helpful. The location of the hotel is good, parking around the hotel is free. We did not use the breakfast , spa and pool. There are many delicious cafes within a 10-15 minute walk.

Great Hotel to relax and enjoy. Very close to the beach with its access to a big selection of restaurants. You can walk into Marbella along the sea front. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Misrepresenation/incorrect info on the booking site. There were photos of the swimming pools outside and inside, and this was the very reason i booked the hotel to have kids swim inside in the winter time. it turned out, that only outside pool is included in price (closed in a winter), and the inside pool belongs to spa, which costs 25€ per person for 90 min entrance! that is 100€ a day for a family of 4! Plus, kids are not allowed in the evening in the pool! None of this was written in the description of the hotel! I complained to General Manager, the only solution he has proposed is to give 50% discount. Very disappointing and frustrating. On the positive side, breakfast was great and abundant!

I don’t usually write reviews but my time here warranted one. I spent six weeks living at the Senator Marbella during a transition in my life. I didn’t know what to expect, only that I wanted to be in Marbella centro. Well, if I could give ten stars I would ⭐️ Starting with the extra comfortable bed, sheets and pillows.. I never expected to sleep so well! The rooms are also sound proof so the busy street is blocked out… as are the neighbors. Everyone has their own peaceful bubble with balcony to boot (make sure you spend the extra money on the sea view room, they have stunning vistas of both Morocco and Gibraltar and are drenched in the afternoon sun). The second best thing about Senator is the spa.. two dry saunas, turkish bath, ice pool, whirlpools and an enormous heated swimming pool. If you have the time and are lucky enough to get an appointment (book in advance!) Jose will give you the best massage of your life. He takes you to heaven with his healing touch. (Note that the spa isn’t included in the room price. This way it stays at a manageable occupancy and remains a tranquil experience.) But surely the very best part of the Senator is the lovely staff. Absolutely every single person who works here from maintenance to management is kind, helpful and welcoming. When you come to Senator.. you don’t just find a perfectly located hotel in the center of Marbella town; steps from the beach, the board walk and a myriad of fabulous cafes and restaurants… you find a family and a home away from home. Thank you Alejandro, Jaky, Antonio, Marco, Alejandra, Anna, Martin, Miriam, Aitor, Jose, Julia and to the whole staff. I’m very grateful to all of you for your unparalleled kindness.
