This was my fourth time staying at this resort and all three times prior were perfect. However, this time it seemed like the quality has declined. We booked a king bed room several months in advance and upon arrival they informed us that they have “upgraded” our room to a higher floor. Initially we were excited about this. Although the view was better, we noticed that instead of a king sized bed they simply pushed two twin beds together and connected them with a lumpy/hard piece that was super uncomfortable for two people to sleep on. When we brought this to their attention they did not apologize but instead said that all the king beds were booked up and that they would try and fix the connecting piece. This was frustrating as we paid for a comfortable king bed months in advance to which we did not receive. Years prior the dinner buffet at The Cafe was amazing. This time they had decreased a lot of options to the point where it was not that much different than the breakfast buffet that is included with the price of stay. I would definitely recommend saving your money on the dinner buffet here and opt on going some place else. Lastly, they would not even give us a take-away cup for our coffee at breakfast without an extra charge. Whereas years prior it was always given without an extra fee. All in all these are small issues but when brought up to the front desk at the end of our stay they did not seem to care. Just a simple “sorry to hear” and that was it. Although the service was overall good and the grounds are beautiful, I would recommend thinking about spending your money elsewhere as the standard has seemed to decline compared to previous years.

The Famous Mulia Resort Nusa Dua Bali *This is a late review We are invited to attend 3 days of events here. This is one of the best hotels we stayed in Bali. The hotel's area was huge. Really huge. You will find a couple of restaurants, a couple of pool, in this hotel area. The beach was great too, white-sand & clean beach. The hotel was clean too, and had great maintenance. Even though we didn't make it to the beach view room, the garden view room was still great for us. The food from breakfast - to lunch - to dinner was exceptional. Huge selection, high quality, & delicious. ☆ General Review ● Food 9.5/ 10 ● Ambience 9 / 10 ● Service 9 / 10 ● Cleanliness 9 / 10 ● Swimming Pool 9.5 / 10

Pros: Excellent service. Every single staff member is always smiling and willing to help. Their service level is really high, and I felt true hospitality. Additionally, the beach is easily accessible, and the overall facilities, including the gym, pools, and garden, are well-maintained. The desserts and bakery are their strongest points, and I used almost every restaurant, and their level was great. Cons: BB: The vegetable and fruit menus are limited and not of great quality. Location: It is not easy to get to this hotel. You need to get a private driver or taxi for an extra fee. Since it is isolated, I needed to get a taxi even to go to the supermarket or convenience store. Restaurants: The overall quality of the restaurants was good, but they were really expensive compared to even fancy restaurants in the Nusa Dua area. There were no options for local food, and since it is isolated, there was no choice but to spend a lot of money. - No activities to enjoy local culture. P.S. During the morning yoga class, the lady beside me filmed it, but no one stopped her. It was really uncomfortable. Doing yoga in the morning is to enjoy a relaxing and calm moment, but it made me very uncomfortable and worried about my face being exposed.

This is the best resort we have ever stayed in Nusa Dua, it got a private beach and great staff (we meet beach staff “Yoga” while sunbathing on the beach, impressed with his friendly manner and excellent service). Pros: Great ocean view / service / high-std food provided / full relax of its space. Cons: Room a bit wet (humidity), facilities a bit old (cuz the age of the hotel itself), in-house charge often very high.

From day 1 till check out, everything was perfect and great. Facilities were clean and comfortable. It’s a big resort so easy to find yourself somewhere else in Mullia. 😅 Lots of open spaces but still very private. Sound proof in the room was great. So quiet and relax environment. Kids club is free ( lunch is excluded and 2-3 is break time) it’s great for parent to have some break during stay. Customer service was amazing. The cafe Buffet was great no wonder why it’s so popular. There are so many different pools so it’s not crowded. Lots if green plants no insects, cant think about anything negative. Price-wise, it’s actually reasonable for what you get serviced at Mulia. The quality of food, atmosphere, interior and exterior was just perfectly nice. We really enjoyed staying at Mulia Resort for the first time. We will come back for longer staying for sure.
