My family and I love staying at Novotel Nusa Dua as it provides excellent services and appropriate rooms for a family of different ages. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, especially the suites. I love having access to a kitchenette and refrigerator to have the option to cook food in my room or make my coffees. There is daily housekeeping that provides new linens if you require and the staff have a great attention to detail when tidying your room. My family loves the swimming pool which is quite large so you feel like you're in a private pool even when other guests are in there. Additionally, the hotel provides fun pool activities such as aqua fit, volleyball and bingo, which my family and I love! Shout out to Gede who runs all these activities! We also love the Square Restaurant and Gourmet Bar who offer delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. The breakfast buffet has a large variety of food to offer for all types of tourists and the staff working the coffee machine are extremely talented! The true highlight of this hotel is the amazing staff that keep the place running! A few wonderful people who I had the pleasure of meeting include Sukarini, Purna, Sunarmi, and Yoga - these staff went above and beyond for us during our stay. The InBalance spa is high quality, very relaxing, and a great value for money. I had three amazing spa treatments where I was taken care of by Gusti, Sri, and Happy. While this hotel can be seen as pricier than other places in Bali, with Novotel Nusa Dua you get what you pay for and in my opinion: It is definitely worth it!

We stayed at Novotel Bali Nusa Dua for the second time and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our first stay was in April 2024, and since then there have been noticeable improvements—particularly around the pool area. New sunbeds, a mini pool bar in the adults’ pool, updated bar furniture, and a completely new beach club with new tables, chairs, bar and kitchen have really elevated the experience. While the rooms are a little older and show some wear, they were clean, comfortable, and fully functional with no issues during our stay. One small area for improvement would be ensuring amenities are provided for the correct number of guests (we had three people in the room but only received amenities for two). That said, we’ve experienced this across multiple Accor properties, so it may be a system or communication issue rather than hotel-specific. Special thanks to Ulan and Ani from the Kids Club—our daughter and nephew absolutely adored them and asked to go back every day. Also, a big thank you to Sri in the restaurant for her exceptional service and the way she handled a concern about a dish that wasn’t cooked properly. She went above and beyond. Overall, this is a resort we would happily recommend. It’s spacious yet cosy, with centralised amenities (pools, spa, kids club) and a genuinely warm, welcoming atmosphere. Nikola & Mila R.

We had a lovely stay at Novotel Nusa Dua. The staff were consistently kind, polite, and welcoming throughout our stay. The room cleaners were absolutely amazing and did a wonderful job every day. One thing we really disliked, however, was having to call repeatedly for basic amenities that are usually provided in the room upon check-in at even 3- or 4-star hotels. Items such as cotton buds, toothbrushes, moisturiser, and even bathrobes were not provided from the first night. Having to keep calling to request these basic necessities was quite annoying and definitely something that needs to be improved. That said, we have nothing but praise for the staff. Special thanks to the room cleaners for their excellent work. We also loved the singer who performed during dinner every night — he was always cheerful, polite, and had amazing vocals. A very special thank you to Adi Tama, who was extremely attentive and always went out of his way to help us. Sugaring was always kind and helpful, and Ara was lovely as well. We also had great spa treatments and massages from Pira and Wedya. Overall, everyone at Novotel Nusa Dua was friendly, professional, and helpful. Apart from the amenities issue, our experience was very positive. Thank you for making our holiday memorable.

We had the best family vacation of a lifetime here. The service is the best I’ve ever experienced. The staff kind hearted and welcoming and willing to go the extra mile to make out stay unforgettable. This resort had something for everyone and had a lot to offer families and kids activities. The rooms spacious and fresh, food impeccable and pool and entertainment exceptional. Lorensia looked after every detail of need and made out stay stress free and one to remember as we celebrated our Birthdays and Christmas in one. Thank you Novotel Bali Nusa Dua, we will be back next year!

I am giving this hotel 3 stars based on our overall experience. Novotel Nusa Dua is unfortunately showing its age. The building feels very old and clearly in need of renovation, and it does not reflect the standard or atmosphere one would expect from a five-star hotel. Upon arrival, we were assigned to a handicap room, which was disappointing as this was not requested or informed beforehand. The bathroom in particular was unpleasant, appearing worn and not well-maintained, which made us uncomfortable. We immediately requested a room change, as we did not wish to stay in a handicap room. Thankfully, a male receptionist (unfortunately I did not catch his name) handled our request with patience, kindness, and professionalism. He genuinely listened to us and helped move us to a standard room. While the new room was slightly better, it still felt outdated. The most disappointing part of our stay, however, was the attitude of two female staff members — one waitress near the pool area and one female receptionist. They were friendly and engaging only toward my husband, while I was completely ignored. I was not greeted, spoken to, or acknowledged at all, despite standing right there. It made me feel invisible and deeply offended. This treatment raised a very uncomfortable question: Was I treated differently because my husband is a foreigner while I am a local Balinese woman? If so, this is absolutely unacceptable. Hospitality should never involve discrimination or selective friendliness. These two staff members require serious retraining to ensure all guests are treated with equal respect and courtesy. Thankfully, not all staff reflected this behavior. We were very pleased with the housekeeping team, who were consistently warm, polite, and genuinely respectful without any form of discrimination. Their attitude was one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, Novotel Nusa Dua has potential, but it urgently needs renovation, better quality control, and improved staff training, especially regarding equal treatment of all guests. But, we were pleased with their food was really good! And they have nice beach club.
