We had a fantastic 10-day stay here for both business and pleasure with our young child, and we highly recommend this hotel. There are so many positives to mention. The breakfast is excellent, with plenty of high-quality options to start the day right. The staff deserves special praise—from the guards at the gate to the reception team, restaurant crew, and cleaning staff. Everyone is consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely willing to listen and help. They really go out of their way to accommodate special requests, and it shows in the overall experience. The entire property is very clean, from the rooms to the pool area and even the poolside toilets. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite, which had a great layout and felt very comfortable. The pool area is also well-designed, with a nice main pool, a small slide, and a dedicated kiddie pool that our child loved. Right next to the pool there is also a dedicated kids club, which is a great bonus for families. The beach club is pleasant, and while the beach directly in front of the hotel is just okay, the hotel can easily arrange a short shuttle ride to a far more beautiful beach nearby. Dinner at the hotel is also a highlight—delicious, high-quality food, both Western and Asian. The location is a little away from busier local activities, but it's very easy to get around with a short scooter or car ride. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and felt very well taken care of. Highly recommended.

I'm impressed with the service at this resort. All the staff were so helpful and responded very quickly to all our needs. The room was amazing – big, like an apartment, clean and quiet, so we felt very comfortable. The pool is huge, and another pool has an amazing ocean view. The food was delicious, and prices were reasonable. I highly recommend The Sakala Resort to everyone who wants to have a comfortable holiday.

We stayed at Sakala Resort Nusa Dua for just one night, and overall, it was a nice experience. The resort itself is beautiful with great facilities. The infinity pool overlooking the beach was amazing — we truly enjoyed the stunning views and relaxing vibe. There’s also another pool inside the hotel building, which was great too. The only downside was the room design — it had too many partitions, which made the space feel smaller and a bit less inviting. However, since it was just a short stay, it didn’t bother us much. Overall, a lovely resort with great pools and beachside charm!

I recently stayed at The Sakala Resort in Nusa Dua, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The location is great, close to the beach and in a calm area perfect for relaxation. The swimming pool is beautiful, spacious, and very inviting. My room with direct pool access was just amazing, clean, comfortable, and felt very private. The beach bar is a lovely spot to relax, and the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. A special big thanks to Gita, the beautiful, very welcoming, and professional waitress at the Terrace Restaurant — she truly made my experience even more enjoyable with her kindness and service. The food at the hotel was good, with a wide variety of options in the restaurants. The only area that needs improvement is the breakfast buffet. While it has a great spread with Balinese, Indian, and even a Chinese corner, as a Muslim and vegetarian, I found very limited choices. Apart from hash browns, eggs, fruit, and toast with peanut butter & jam, there wasn’t much else available for me. I think adding more vegetarian-friendly options would make a big difference. Overall, a beautiful resort with great facilities — just hope they improve the breakfast selection for vegetarians.

I visited Sakala with my wife for our 1st wedding anniversary so was hoping for a great experience. The hotel is fantastic. Its very clean and very well kept in general. Before visiting like most I read some reviews and noticed some negative ones regarding staff and cleanliness. I would advise everyone reading those same reviews to completely ignore them! Me and my wife have found the staff to be some of the most polite and welcoming people we have come across whilst travelling to other countries and in our own. We must give a special mention to a couple of staff in particular Gung who works in the beach club area served us for our anniversary meal he was amazing the entire time we stayed and could not do enough for us to make sure we was having the best time, Also Christina at the lobby bar was also great and always served with a huge smile. The food at the resort is very good but their traditional Balinese food is a stand out for sure. We booked the package "Romantic meal under the stars" ,which has a unbelievable set menu which is prepared beautifully as well as a great location for the meal The management team at Sakala should be very pleased with our experience at their resort we will be recommending them to anyone who visits the island.
