Our stay at The Sakala Resort – Family Pool Villa was exceptional from start to finish. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable, with the private pool being a real highlight and perfect for a relaxed family stay. The food and service genuinely surprised us — we usually avoid eating in hotels, but the quality, variety and warmth of service here were so irresistible that we happily stayed in. It was exactly what we needed to fully switch off and ease into the start of our holiday. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, with an amazing range of fresh, high-quality options that catered to everyone and made mornings something to look forward to. The spa was equally impressive — calm, indulgent and deeply relaxing, delivered by highly skilled therapists. What truly sets The Sakala apart is the kindness and attentiveness of the staff, who made the entire experience feel effortless. Particularly Weda, who was our direct contact from the Villa - she was a star ⭐️.We left feeling rested and refreshed and cannot recommend this resort highly enough.

Sakala Resort was overall a very good hotel. Our butler, Weda, was exceptional — she organized everything we needed promptly and professionally. Many thanks to her. The villa was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped with all necessary amenities, although it felt slightly tired in places. Breakfast was good, and both the pool restaurant and the main pool were enjoyable, with good service throughout. The hotel is conveniently located about 5–10 minutes by taxi from Bali Collection, which offers many of the best restaurants in the area. There is also a hotel shuttle bus. A Grab taxi costs around €5 one way. The only significant negative point was the beach. While the beach area itself had sunbeds and a café, the actual beach was dirty and surrounded by hundreds of boats. There were constant boat fumes, and water sports activities on both sides meant boats were moving continuously. Although a swimming area was marked with buoys, it was small, shallow, and the water was not clean. If not for the beach conditions, I would have rated the hotel 5 out of 5.

I highly recommend Sakala Hotel in Bali — it is truly an exceptional place. From the very first moment, I felt warmly welcomed by the incredibly kind, professional, and attentive staff. The level of service throughout my stay was absolutely outstanding, always genuine, caring, and delivered with a constant smile. A very special mention goes to the manager, Demy, who went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of my stay was perfect. His dedication, professionalism, and sincere care for guests truly elevate the entire experience and make you feel valued at all times. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to Rio, who was incredibly helpful and always attentive to us, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. A special thank you as well to Vera from the Japanese restaurant — her kindness, warmth, and excellent service made every visit a pleasure. I would also like to highlight Nidia for her kindness, willingness to help, and positive attitude, which truly made a difference in our experience. The hotel facilities are absolutely stunning — beautiful, comfortable, and impeccably maintained, creating the perfect environment to relax and unwind. The culinary team is phenomenal; the food was consistently delicious, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every meal felt like a special experience. I truly enjoyed every single moment of my stay and left with unforgettable memories. This is the kind of hotel that makes you fall in love and want to return again and again. I would come back a thousand times without hesitation and highly recommend Hotel Sakala to anyone looking for an extraordinary and unforgettable experience in Bali.

We had a great time at Sakala villas. Staff were very helpful and did their best to provide us a quality service. Weda was always checking in on our plans and organised house keeping and any other requests. Villa is spacious and clean. Didn't use the private pool much as we had friends and we used the main pool. Plenty of activities to do. Balinese Christmas dinner was well organised. Food was delicious, but after 7 days it was a bit monotonous. Will stay again for sure.

We had a fantastic 10-day stay here for both business and pleasure with our young child, and we highly recommend this hotel. There are so many positives to mention. The breakfast is excellent, with plenty of high-quality options to start the day right. The staff deserves special praise—from the guards at the gate to the reception team, restaurant crew, and cleaning staff. Everyone is consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely willing to listen and help. They really go out of their way to accommodate special requests, and it shows in the overall experience. The entire property is very clean, from the rooms to the pool area and even the poolside toilets. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite, which had a great layout and felt very comfortable. The pool area is also well-designed, with a nice main pool, a small slide, and a dedicated kiddie pool that our child loved. Right next to the pool there is also a dedicated kids club, which is a great bonus for families. The beach club is pleasant, and while the beach directly in front of the hotel is just okay, the hotel can easily arrange a short shuttle ride to a far more beautiful beach nearby. Dinner at the hotel is also a highlight—delicious, high-quality food, both Western and Asian. The location is a little away from busier local activities, but it's very easy to get around with a short scooter or car ride. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and felt very well taken care of. Highly recommended.
