The Leaf Jimbaran

We stayed at The Leaf Jimbaran for two nights in December 2025 and booked a one-bedroom villa with a private pool. The villa was impressively spacious, featuring: A large indoor bedroom/living area with air conditioning, a big sofa, and a TV An extra-large bathroom (not air-conditioned) with a separate tub, shower, and toilet A private swimming pool A covered outdoor dining and kitchen area Because we visited during the wet season and it was very humid, we didn’t use the outdoor kitchen much, but we loved relaxing in the spacious indoor living and bedroom areas. Cleanliness was acceptable, though some furniture and equipment showed signs of aging—likely due to Bali’s humid climate. Breakfast was complimentary and decent, with a good selection of fruits, pastries, Western and local dishes, plus coffee, juice, and an omelet station. The variety might feel slightly limited compared to other five-star hotels, but it was still enjoyable. A few things to note: There is no direct beach access. To visit Jimbaran Beach, you’ll need to take a taxi/Grab or use the hotel shuttle (runs 3–4 times daily). The property is tucked away from busy streets, which makes it peaceful, but the access road is very narrow with damaged pavement. Overall, if you’re looking for a quiet retreat with a spacious villa, private pool, and the option to cook outdoors when the weather allows, this is a great choice!

A lovely villa with its own pool and outside kitchen garden area. Staff are really nice. The only downside if I was to find fault is its location is a little out on its own away from any major arterial routes roads. But there’s a great scooter hire place right opposite lol

Amazing oil massage here by Moni and Suleki! Especially upper body massage was so amazing, there is even a face and head massage at the end that really makes you fall asleep, next time we’re here we’re definitely getting this again! Facilities clean and staff very friendly, also very easy to make a reservation through WhatsApp:)

Lovely hotel but not a 5*. The location of the hotel is a disappointment as it is not a walkable way to the beach or any centre with restaurants or animations. The last section of the road leading to the hotel is not made of good concrete and is full of potholes. There are a lot of mosquitoes in all the hotel areas. The villa is nice and spacious with a big private pool (full of bugs). The whole bathroom is outdoor (no privacy between us). The design is a particular choice as the dresser is for example with the outdoor bathroom, so not ideal to store the clothes or the skincare products and keep them at cool temperatures and dry… Meanwhile the room is super spacious but not with a lot of storage possibilities. The main pool was better to hang out at. Although the jacuzzi was not working. The breakfast was various but nothing special (industrial food). They didn’t have in stock gluten free bread although I asked by email in advance. The SPA was really nice. The staff was lovely and competent. Jimbaran is a nice beach to learn to surf and eat seafood at night, but that’s it. No real animations or walkable area to enjoy the evening. The staff was really lovely and helpful. Overall, the standards of a 5* were not met but it was a nice stay. I would advise to stay at the Nusa Dua area, with direct access to the beach to relax at the end of a Bali trip for example.

We had a wonderful time at the luxury villa ! The bedroom was very spacious and beautifully it was incredibly quiet both during the day and at night, which made it easy to fully relax. The pool was also large enough, and we truly enjoyed spending time there. ✨ The service was always very attentive and quick to resolve any issues. Three people made our stay especially memorable: Isma, the manager, who was always there for us and did everything possible to make us feel comfortable, Nick from housekeeping, who was always kind, cheerful, and considerate. He cleaned the room quickly and thoroughly every time and last but not least, Eben the gardener, who constantly brought good vibes and always had a smile on his face. Thank you for everything we’ll definitely come back! 🙏🏼
