I've stayed at a lot of budget hotels in Singapore. You have to expect a small room. In this case, it's 140 ft2. Actually larger than some hotels where you can barely shut the door to the bathroom/shower in one. In this case there is some space to put bags on the ground and stretch a bit. Windows are inoperable, but all you need to do is turn on the AC system when you arrive. Look for the green light- The pool is uncommon, and a gem. Warm and cool views of the taller surrounding buildings. The room was clean and the service was snappy on the check in. Check out is a breeze- I'll definitely keep it in mind for another trip. Again, it's a budget hotel. You have to pick what you need in accomodations. While in Singapore for a short stay, I choose to have a cheap room and enjoy the city rather than a palace with no experience outside a palace- though there are plenty of amazing hotels to pick from.

I was given a room without a window, even though a standard room was booked through my agent. I was even made to pay for an upgrade facing a building’s wall! There were hairs in the room’s bathroom of my first room and hand towels were neither available, nor given to me when requested. Due to the constant slamming of doors on the 5th floor, i can hardly call this a good resting hotel. Very disappointed…

I recently had the pleasure of staying at ibis budget Singapore Clarke Quay, and the experience was truly exceptional. The staff's hospitality was outstanding, catering to every need with a warm and welcoming demeanor. The room was immaculate, showcasing a perfect blend of modern amenities and cozy ambiance. The attention to detail, from the plush bedding to the well-stocked minibar, did not go unnoticed. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a gastronomic delight. The menu offered a diverse range of dishes, each prepared with finesse and bursting with flavor. The chef's culinary skills were truly commendable. Moreover, the hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the city. The concierge service was helpful in providing recommendations for local attractions and arranging transportation. In conclusion, my stay at ibis budget Singapore Clarke Quay exceeded expectations, leaving me with fond memories. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and delightful hotel experience

We recently stayed at the Ibis Budget and enjoyed our stay. Pros: Great location (easy walking to lots of hawker markets, Chinatown, Merlion, Clarke Quay etc), really nice rooftop pool area and very friendly and welcoming staff. Cons: Rooms are on the small side, the bathroom is a bit weird (shower is right next to the toilet and there is no curtain or barrier so the toilet gets completely wet when you shower), beds are very firm. Overall a really good value hotel for the location and good if you are on a tighter budget or just staying for a few days

We stayed here for 5 nights and 6 days. We had booked 2 rooms without windows which was a big mistake due to no ventilation. 1 room had air purifier but we could see the leakage on the wall and not sure about moulds but was not happy with the room according to the cost. The bathroom was really small which is okay to stay for 2 nights or so. The bathroom door did not have a handle and we could not close the bathroom door at night, there were small insects in the bathroom which would enter the bedroom. The pool is clean and maintained but the height is really not enough to swim comfortably. There is a gym which has only a treadmill and a cycling machine which again we did not use. Overall the location is the best especially if required to use public transportation. Food wise you can catch a bus to Lau pa sat, China Town, boat quay or little India. Crab set go in Clarke quay is highly recommended for crabs and worth the cost. I would recommend this place only if you are going to be out of the hotel almost the entire day and only need a place to freshen up and sleep in the nights and keep your luggage. Overall the staff was friendly. They do not provide drinking water or any kind of toiletries. In case if you are easily annoyed by dust or noise the building next to this hotel is under construction and on the last day the road in front of the hotel was being repaired which is a good thing in a way but kind of an inconvenience too.
