My husband and I recently visited this resort for our honeymoon and we have had the best time! We are avid cruisers so it was nice to try something similar. Each day we were here the staff have been friendly and caring. The food at the dinner restaurants have been delicious! The food at the lunch and breakfast buffet has been good overall. There have been a few hit of miss items but overall the food is good and the service is great! The one thing that we noticed is that the bars and pools do not stay open late which was disappointing but overall we can’t wait to come back!

Pros:
- Overall very delicious food, especially at the Brasas restaurant.
- Well connected with the city center if you want to engage in activities during the day.
- Amazing poolside bar service; the guys working there are the best.
- Super tasty buffet breakfast; they make omelets and bacon on the spot.
- Very friendly and fun entertainment and sports staff.
Cons:
- Some rooms should have "ocean view" but don't. Be careful with the room you pay for and the one you get; we had this problem and had to go through the entire check-in check-out process to move to a new room.
- Very low water pressure. In the first room, it took a long time to get hot, and in the second, we had a problem of no water for half an hour (they had to come in and fix it).
- Pool beds get taken quickly; people leave towels to reserve them. It's very annoying if you want to wake up peacefully.
- The beach area is not well maintained, lacking a bit of the sea experience in the resort.
- Some cocktails are made well, others poorly.
Overall, a very nice experience and I would recommend it 100%!

The food was great. Best food I've had at any resort down there. Service was fantastic. Jose and Jesus at the pool were amazing. The pool event staff was very good. Especially Manuel and Christian. The only rude person was one of the hostesses at the buffet.
Cons: They don't really clean the room. Never wiped off the bathroom sink the entire 10 days. We only got our sheets changed once the entire time and we had to request it. The balcony was full of bird crap everywhere and it wasn't cleaned the entire time. I watched a cleaning lady sweep off the balcony of another room and then immediately go inside and use the same broom to sweep the room floor. The birds were everywhere all the time which was not enjoyable. They really need to do something about that. Sargasm was horrible and since the beach was so small it smelled terrible 7/10 days. So birds and sargasm were really the two biggest issues.

This was my first experience at an all inclusive adults only resort. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this resort. The junior suite ocean view suite was spacious and clean. The food was superb and fresh. All of the restaurants had great tasting food and was presented well. The service was amazing and the staff were so kind and accommodating. It was Cinco De Mayo weekend so, it was indeed a vibe!! The resort is right on the beach and within walking distance to 5th Ave which has plenty of places to shop. The only thing I was not pleased with was the amount of bird poop near the balconies. Not sure what they can do about that as it is not a pleasant view while trying to relax on the balcony. Nonetheless, I was very pleased and had a wonderful experience. I would most definitely recommend and return for a future visit!!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Wyndham Alltra Resort in Playa del Carmen, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, contributing to a very positive vibe throughout my stay. The hotel itself was immaculately clean, and the pools were exceptionally well-maintained, providing the perfect spots to relax and unwind. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway in Playa del Carmen.
