This place is awesome! The staff are so friendly! And what a beautiful beach! The entertainment staff is top notch. There’s enough space to relax, but also have fun too. The shows at night were so fun! This is a great, small resort. Would like to come next time!

I booked this resort after reading the review, only to arrive and be disappointed. I found this resort to be extremely outdated. The air conditioning wouldn't go below 24 degrees celsius even when I set it to 10. The room was clean, but just seemed outdated compared to the pictures. The food wasn't great, but the service and alcohol were pretty good. Luckily I was able to buy day passes to visit other resorts, which saved my trip. Unfortunately I wouldn't return back to this resort, but hope that they do some necessary upgrades.

One of the highlights of staying at Hotel Allegro Playacar is the culinary experience. With multiple restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, there is something to satisfy every palate. From gourmet Mexican fare to international delicacies, each meal is a culinary delight. The talented chefs use only the freshest ingredients to create dishes that are as visually stunning as they are delicious. The resort itself is a paradise for relaxation and recreation. Lounge by the sparkling pool with a refreshing cocktail in hand, or take a stroll along the pristine beach and feel the soft sand between your toes. For the more adventurous guests, there are plenty of activities to choose from, including water sports, tennis, and golf. But perhaps the most remarkable aspect of Hotel Allegro Playacar is the impeccable service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and pampered throughout their stay. Whether it's arranging excursions, fulfilling special requests, or simply offering a friendly smile, the staff truly goes the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable.

Allegro Playacar isn’t the fanciest resort, but it had everything we were looking for. It is clean, the grounds are well kept and the food is great. My mother and I had a fabulous week. The pools are great and located with a gorgeous view of the sea. The beach is beautiful, with plenty of lounge chairs under the palm trees for everyone. The grounds are well maintained and vibrant. The staff is exceptional and really highten the whole experience. They are friendly, attentive and efficient. We loved the Cielito Lindo mexican restaurant on the resort: Gabriel and his team Alfredo, Fausto and Bonifacio gave us exceptional service. Ricardo Martinez was often our waiter at the buffet and also offered wonderful service. We had massages at the spa. Josefina C gave me a great reflexology massage, truly relaxing. The resort isn’t fancy by any means, but it had everything we were after: nice beach and pools, nice balconies with hammocks for every room, spa, gym, great food and amazing staff. The only down side is that you can hear the live shows from 9:30-10:30 pm every night in almost all room blocs, but that didn’t prevent us from sleeping well. Overall a fantastic experience, will return again!
