The location is excellent, but this hotel falls short of its advertised 4-star rating. It appears that the management has neglected maintenance and basic amenities. Contrary to what one might expect from a 4-star hotel, there is no room service, and rooms lack essentials like a fridge, bottled water, or a coffee machine. Additionally, there is no restaurant on-site, only a bar that offers a self-service breakfast with disposable utensils, which detracts from the overall experience. Despite being told that they were understaffed, this setup persisted throughout my stay. The breakfast options were basic, and coffee was dispensed from a machine, further diminishing the 4-star claim. The most disappointing aspect was during checkout after a 5-night stay: I was charged $6 to store my luggage for a few hours, payable only in cash. This is unexpected and unreasonable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. The building itself is beautiful, but the rooms and amenities do not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel, nor do they justify the Autograph Collection certification. This establishment needs to re-evaluate its offerings and service to align with its rating.

During my stay at the Lexington hotel, I felt relatively safe. The beds were comfortable and the view from our room was good. However, the walls are thin and you can hear every sound from the hallways and outside. However, I feel that the cons outweigh the pros for staying at this hotel. The room was not equipped with a mini fridge to store drinks and there was not a microwave either. The front desk had subpar customer service, nothing extra. Please be aware that there is a $35 destination fee added to your bill for each night of your stay. This fee can be credited for food, beverages (the bar and buffet breakfast), city bike pass, and crunch fitness pass. It seemed like a good deal UNTIL we learned that the $35 destination fee cannot be rolled over and its only for once person to use. There was 4 of us staying together. The breakfast buffet is $35 per person which seems too pricey for hotel breakfast. We never used the destination fee since the hotel was used as a place to sleep and we ate our meals outside the hotel. Not to mention, the bar closes at 11 pm on the weekend. Yes, the hotel was nice but it is not worth the additional fees added to our total bill. We were also charged two undisclosed amounts to our card that we are disputing because it does not match the hotel bill or the additional fees. Please be aware before booking!

Superb well located hotel with very strong historic roots and steeped in history! The foyer tells the story and it’s seen some action I can tell you! As most on here are saying, the rooms are definitely well overdue for refurbishment but it doesn’t detract from what a fantastic hotel this is otherwise! One point I must make is that the shower heads are phenomenal, with so many options of how to jet wash your body I was completely blown away by them… literally!

Pretty bad experience here yesterday. Older hotel which I realize. But it’s so loud with all the doors slamming in the halls. Wouldn’t be a huge issue if the rooms weren’t so tiny and directly on top of each other. You can hear everything through the walls. My room also smelled horrible. Pluses- the downstairs lobby bar is beautiful and had great drinks and great service The Crunch gym guests are allowed to use on the lower level is also awesome.

I have stayed at quite a few Autograph Collection hotels and have never had a similar experience to the one I had at The Lexington Hotel. From the moment I checked in, the level of customer service was alarmingly subpar. Staff members seemed overwhelmed and disinterested, which did not set a welcoming tone for my stay. The conditions of the room were equally disappointing. A persistent moldy smell lingered in the air, making it uncomfortable to relax or even sleep through the night. Additionally, the environment outside the room was no better; the halls and streets were consistently loud, disrupting what little peace I could find within my accommodations. However, the most outrageous experience occurred when a random guest, given an access key at the front desk by accident, opened my door. Thankfully, I had the security latch engaged, which prevented a complete intrusion. This incident not only shocked me but also left me questioning the overall security measures and management practices in place at the hotel. For travelers looking for a reliable, comfortable, and secure stay, I must advise looking elsewhere. The Lexington Hotel, unfortunately, falls dramatically short of the standards expected from an Autograph Collection hotel. For your own peace of mind and safety, consider choosing a different hotel that values and ensures the comfort and security of its guests.
