There were 3 of us traveling together, and we booked this hotel because they offer a double bunk bed room with 4 beds. The room was VERY small, but comfortable. We each had our own outlet and light in our bunk. The bathroom was large and the shower was very nice. We needed more towels and they were brought up quickly. Everything was clean and we always felt very safe. The location is convenient for Penn station and the theater.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. Bed bugs in my daughter's bed. Told the concierge that my daughter had bites after our 1st night there and I was assured by the concierge that they would take care of it by replacing the mattresses and other bedding. The next night she had a few more bites so I know that they lied about addressing the issue. When I checked out at the hotel I asked to speak to a manager about the issues with the room but he refused to speak with me. The concierge offered me some discounts and rebates on some of the purchases I made at the hotel but honestly it was really distressing to me the they cared so little about a public health issue. I was told that I would hear from the manager by email or phone the next day. I didn't receive either so I called them today and asked to speak to the manager over the phone and I was told that he would call me in 10 minutes or less after I confirmed that they had my cell phone. I never heard from them so it's pretty obvious that they do not care about their customers at all! Marriott should end their relationship with this hotel chain. It's terrible experiences like this that can really ruin a brand. Between the situation I just described the other thing that was not cool is the $30 daily resort fee that completely caught us off guard. We came to NYC to have fun and stay in an upscale hotel near times square and by all accounts this place seemed like a good place but it is not worth it at any price. Stay away!

Employees were extremely nice and respectful. The rooms were small but we didn’t spend that much time in the room since there was so much to do outside of the hotel. The rooftop bar was beautiful and overall had an amazing time here. Definitely would book again.

You definitely get hostel vibes when entering, the quality of service is poor and the staff at the desk are not very welcoming. The room itself was comfortable, mine was located on the 6th floor and was a decent size. Close to Times Square, be prepared for a noisy night - sound proofing would be good. Very close to penn station too and the bed was comfortable. Don’t like the destination fee - you can spend the money in the cafe but the offerings are very minimal. I would definitely recommend staying elsewhere for a better quality stay and value for money. Was not told at check in that you get to hire a Polaroid camera even though the destination fee pays for this? $100 security deposit also taken at the start of the stay, yet to receive it back. Overall - not a bad stay - if you want to nip in and out it’s fine.

We stayed here for a show at MSG. Hotel has modern and fun vibes. We checked in on the app and got the mobile key. Check in line was massive so glad we did that but regretted it once we had to use the mobile key for everything (elevator, Door, lights) since not always the easiest to use. We bought the package with the 2 canned margaritas and upon arrival they had already run out and gave us Heineken instead with no bottle opener. The roof top bar was cool but you had to leave the hotel and enter another way which I feel like for hotel guests there should be a better way to get there instead of getting IDed and standing in a line. The rooms are small but cool vibe. Water pressure is nice. Beds are uncomfortable. The worst part was the noise. This is the noisiest hotel I've ever been to. The roof top bar was blasting music until 4am and the bar on the 2nd floor as well. Just straight bumping music all night. The AC unit came on every hour which sounded like a generator starting up. I'm only 33 I can deal with noise and music but this was insane. I felt like I was in the bar with how loud it was. Don't stay here if you plan to go to bed before 4am.
