Great hotel. I love the Y2K aesthetic. They really commit to the style. Staff was very nice and helpful. Baggage hold was great. Only complaint was that there is no dedicated fan/vent that you can turn on in in the bathroom area. The bathroom in our room was just a sliding glass door that wouldn't close all the way, so not much privacy. Other than that I loved it.

The hotel is just like in the photos if you assume the photos were taken a decade ago. they make you pay for Resort Fee for every night. When you book the room, be aware that it is not included. We told the receptionist that we didn't know this and he told us that it happens a lot, that it is written in small letters during reservation and that we are adults so we should have read everything carefully. It is like they do this so that people cannot notice. Maybe it's my bad but I have never had such experience at other hotels. It was my first experience having to pay extra. They say it offers huge advantages, yet I experienced zero resort like advantages and less standard advantages than a bottom tier Marriott.
the room is really SMALL. It is hard to get in the room. Literally the door almost hit the bed so I had to come into the left close the door and then move around to truly enter the room. The toilet and shower are in the room separated by glass and the door does not fully close. It is not isolated. So when you are in there, your partner will hear "whatever you do".
You will hear people from the hall. The noise insulation is not good at all. The water and ice machines are super super slow like it takes minutes to fill a small water bottle. The water tasted weird.
They say they offer complimentary mini refrigerators, yet i was not able to get one any of my nights, and my leftovers went bad. I stayed Tuesday through Thursday night so it’s not like it was a weekend.
Overall, I will not stay at another YOTEL.

The hotel is just like in the photos. No surprise there. However, remember that they make you pay for Resort Fee for every night. They say it offers huge advantages, yet I would strongly disagree.
Apart from this, the room is good but really SMALL. It is hard to move around if you are two people. The toilet and shower are in the room separated by glass and the door does not fully close. It is not isolated. So when you are in there, your partner will hear "whatever you do".
You will hear people from the hall. The noise insulation is not good at all. On top of that, one morning, some staff were chatting really loudly in the hall at 7:20 that after 10 minutes we had to get up and warn them.
They say they offer complimentary mini refrigerators, yet in reality it is veeery limited and not easy to come by. They are also in bad shape, so if you need it, it could be a problem. When I asked for one, one receptionist told me to check with her every day between 12:00-2:00 and wait in my room! I could get one after 4 phone calls.
Overall, I will probably not stay at another YOTEL.

Great Location! You are 2-3 blocks from times square and major Broadway theatres. Lots of places to eat and have a drink. Plus the adjacent store is a liquor store. The area is busy but not excessively busy its a great hotel in general.
The hotel breakfast is ~$20 a person, but its a hot breakfast with a decent selection. Well staffed too. Rooms are nice and look like the photos there is some noise from the hallway but its mostly quiet. The shower is great, but our room did have some small mold stains in the corner. Nothing to get in a fuss over, but it may affect others experience.
It does cost $9 (Cash only) to have them hold your bags. I've never heard of this charge before but it may be a nyc thing.

Great value for the money. The rooms are small but very clean and modern. We had a small window with an amazing view. Housekeeping cleans thoroughly every day. Great location. The only issue we had was that the bathroom is kind of right in the room with glass doors, so there's no privacy. For 2 out of the 4 days, we barely had hot water. It sounds a bit challenging, but I'm still happy with the hotel choice
