We’re staying here right now. So in a couple of words if you’re on a budget especially with kids and not grossed out by “moldy caulk” hotels - this is a good one. My kids are having a blast, there’s a ton of pools and sprinklers and waterfalls. Location is amazing, you can go snorkeling right at the beach knee deep, beautiful gardens, wildlife. Not too much noise and loud music. There’s areas for adults only, a great daycare area. Friendly accommodating staff. Spacious rooms. BUT I can’t give it 5 stars because the hotel itself is in desperate need of a renovation and food selection is pretty poor. For the price though it’s fine, we’ve seen worse

I would have given 5 stars if not for the check-in. But overall, it is a value for money all-inclusive experience. I am apprehensive at first in making the booking with the negative reviews but I am really glad I pushed with it. Me, my wife and daughter enjoyed the resort's facilities and amenities. Booking directly entitled us for transfers which is a bonus. You will have a number of options for food and the buffet is definitely a winner. The room is fine and being cleaned everyday and what I liked most is that they put us near the kiddie pools which is a big plus for my toddler daughter. The staff are welcoming too and the restaurant staff are awesome. Andrea, the Entertainment Manager is absolutely amazing! She made our stay memorable and made sure to have a top-notch experience. On my wife's birthday, she reserved a table for us in one of the restaurants and got us a cake too! The only downside is that they made us wait for almost 3 hours for the check-in as the room is not readily available. Even that I have requested for an early check-in but to no avail. Coming from a long trip and the land trip from Cancun, they would have been more reasonable. Also, while you wait to get checked in, there will be staff that will hover and invite you to attend a 90-minute presentation. And oh, still waiting for the promised Lassie reward when you booked direct, follow-up emails were not responded to. Despite this though, my wife and I are looking forward to come back. Thanks to Andrea and the overall experience, we will for sure schedule a return.

Overall would not stay here again. No service after 11 unless you want coffee. We met many great people tried to hangout in different areas after 11 and they would shut the lights off on us and then tell us to go to our rooms or the coffee shop. We saw a random bell boy come out of our neighbours room when we were going to ours and he stopped dead in his tracks like he just got caught. The smell of sewage over most of the resort is absolutely disgusting and never stops. We had zero hot water to shower in our room. Our room sat at 16degrees for 5 out of 8 days because the thermostat would not work. We would place our towels on the floor or in the bathtub for replacing and they wouldn’t be replaced. The beach and pool lounge chairs are all taken by 8am with people placing towels on them and not even using them for hours. The beach and views were the only good thing. There is no entertainment like they advertised online. Shows are very minimal(and cheesy) and finish by 10:45. When checking out they tried to charge us for a service we already pay for at the spa while also being well overcharged. We waited 35 min to be told the manager was running errands and it would be awhile but we were being picked up so we had to leave. The shuttle to the airport is far too long because of all the stops that have to be made to pick up and drop off other people. With the location being so far they should have direct shuttles.

The hotel is located next to a really nice beach. However, it needs a lot of work. Our room was next to a construction area, so there was a lot of noise and the smell of paint. Plus, there were fleas in the gym.

I would not stay here even if it was for free. My visit was Feb 10-14. I found two bugs in my bed. Anytime I needed room service no one answered we had to go downstairs. The private pool was dirty. We had ants above the sink in the bathroom. They were supposed to make food accommodations for my health and they had no idea even though we called ahead. The events that they had on the resort were boring. We could never get a manager. All they wanted us to do is invest into the resort which we were not. The water took forever to warm up. It's like they bought a building did bad patch up work and just opened. It was a bad experience we spent most of our time at the front desk. We still have not talked to Management. Mind you this was my first time ever at a resort. Oh and the drinks were not that great either. They don't even use real fruit juice. Don't book there we had the best room in the resort. It was the worst room. Oh and the bed was hard as a rock. It was the worst sleep I've ever had. I have pictures to back all this up with. I was excited bc I needed a vacation and ended up in hell. Management still has not contacted me.
