By far one of my best stays. The view, the service, the location, the bar, events, restaurant were top notch! The room was a perfect size; it had everything you needed and was very cozy and clean. I would recommend everyone to stay here. On top of this, they offer extra services (like ironing, have extra adapters, roomservice/ daily cleaning) and are genuinely very friendly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved it. Rooms are a little small, but are super-clean, well-appointed, and have everything you’ll need. Location is great—a few blocks off of Times Square, so you get the proximity to Broadway and all the tourist spots but you avoid all the noise and bustle below. Price is also relatively reasonable. Highly recommend.

Civilian Hotel is my home away from home. The Starlight rooftop bar is a great spot to end a busy day with a cocktail & 270 degree city views. The staff is always super helpful and pleasant. The management team is top notch and you can tell they take great pride in providing 5 star service without exception. Thanks Carlos and staff for a wonderful experience

I spent 2 pre-cruise nights there. Great location for theatres and activities. Room was tiny but perfect. There are hanging pegs but no closet. Drawer under sitting area and storage under bed, as well as a drawer with a safe. Fall asleep to sounds of the city. Staff is fantastic. Nick at front desk was delightful and helpful. Will definitely plan to stay again.

This hotel is an absolute gem! It’s tucked away on 48th and 8th just far enough from the extreme hustle and bustle of Times Square. But it’s definitely in the middle of everything all the same. My room was beautifully appointed, freshly updated, and cozy. Well, the rooms are generally small, they’re laid out well and there’s no wasted space. The hotel overall has a swanky and classy feel, reminiscent of earlier last century. Every service person I encountered was genuinely friendly, helpful and prompt. To some things up, this is a beautiful, small hotel in a great location, with an excellent staff. The accommodations and amenities were great. Nice restaurants and a lively bar.
