This was my first time in Cancun and first time staying at an Aloft hotel. My stay was amazing from the second I walked in the doors to the second I left. Service was amazing and friendly staff. This hotel is less than a minute walk from the beach. The room and package I got was a great deal which included free breakfast and unlimited bar. Rooms were nice and clean as well. If you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay in Cancun then look no further. This hotel has a nice pool on the roof with lounge chairs which was nice for when it was night time or time away from the beach. A 30 minute drive from the airport. Also bus routes from the airport to here as well which saves you from a $50 or more ride from the airport taxis. I will stay here again whenever I come back to Cancun.

Great stay! We were there 7 nights in April. Check-in was slow, I don't know what's taking so long to process. Mario is great, helped us with our luggage to our room. The hallway to the room smelled moldy & is dark, it could use more lighting! Room was clean, modern, adequate size, bathroom nice. The towels are thick & big. The best assets are the beds, very comfortable, right firmness, nice pillows, had the best sleep. View is facing the convention building wall so not so great. Negative is the lack of hanging hooks, and a retractable laundry line for wet swimsuits in the bathroom like the ones in cruise ships. It's a beach destination after all! No ice machines, they should invest in at least one for the main lobby. Pool is great, almost deserted so most times we were the only ones there w/c I liked very much! Wifi is free & strong. Security is present & we felt safe. No unsavory characters around! Restaurants & stores are very near, we frequented the nearby supermarket for meals, snacks & other needs. Ferry to isla mujeres is across the street & bus stop is in front. So overall very convenient! Reasonably priced! I highly recommend for tourists to stay here! Enjoy!!

Stayed four days, check in was great, the rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are very comfortable, the hotel is situated in a great location close to everything. My stay there was great and Mario was a great help. The bartenders were great as well you get complimentary drinks during your stay. Something you might want to do is arrive close to your check in time, to avoid waiting. Other than that my stay was great and I will return.

This place is the best location you ever get in Cancun. You can walk to Cocobongo and go straight to downtown in 10 minutes. I wish they would offer more amenities like laundry and room service. Everybody was pretty friendly, and we also got free drinks at the bar during our stay; I will consider this place again if I want the party life and Cancun.

I have some conflicting feelings about the hotel room, which is why I gave it 4 stars. (Booked in for 11 nights) It's nice for the price, but not fantastic. We booked as a couple expecting a double bed and received two separate beds. Okay, not a big deal; it really helped us sleep separately when we got sunburned. However, on the first day, both the toilet flush and the safe broke down, necessitating a call to maintenance. Hats go to them for responding fast and resolving the issue, but nonetheless its not a great start. When we arrived, the rooms were tidy but not very clean when it comes to the floor, and the air vent in the bathroom drew air from outside, depositing little strands of hair on our hotel towels underneath where it was stored. Breakfast buffet needs some improvement. Same food every day for 11 days not much selection. The worst part is that the hotel was listed as adults only on the site where we booked, OnTheBeach.co.uk, and there were a lot of kids, so this is something they should look at. Adults Only was the main reason why we choose this Hotel. The view from the rooftop, on the other hand, was spectacular. The pool is lovely. We visited in December, so it wasn't too crowded. We had the pools to ourselves on certain days. Because the hotel is in the heart of the city, two beaches and a variety of activities are within a 5-minute walk. The distance is one of the key reasons we could return. The hotel personnel is extremely pleasant and helpful, and you can schedule activities at the front desk. If you do this, you will not be taken advantage of by certain con artists outside. Overall we had a good time! :)
