I gave it four stars due to the lack of breakfast. As well as the crazy high prices in the marketplace. The service was great. The room was very well kept. I did not get a chance to use the many different pools or spas but did walk around them, and they look awesome. This is a great place for families and has shuttles to ask the parks.

I recently spent six nights at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort, and it was an experience I'd rather forget. Despite the steep price of $300 per night, plus an additional daily resort fee of $40 that offered little in return, my stay was fraught with issues. Firstly, the accommodations were far from satisfactory. The room and hotel interiors seemed trapped in a time warp, not having been updated since the 1980s. Not only was the room uncomfortably small, but it also fell short in terms of upkeep and cleanliness. The state of disrepair was evident, with dated fixtures and evident lack of maintenance, making it clear that both Disney and Marriott have neglected their duties in ensuring a standard of quality one would expect at such a premium price point. To add insult to injury, the hygiene conditions were appalling. The room was not just unclean but felt downright unhealthy — a stark contrast to the polished image these brands usually project. I took several photos to document the unacceptable conditions, which clearly demonstrate the urgent need for renovation and improved housekeeping standards. Furthermore, the dining options were underwhelming. Both the Dolphin and the adjacent Swan Hotel seem to share nearly identical menus across their restaurants. This lack of variety, combined with the mediocrity of dining experiences, only compounded the frustration of my stay. It's disheartening to write such a negative review, but I believe potential guests deserve to know what awaits them. Both Disney and Marriott should be ashamed to associate their names with a property that fails to deliver on so many levels. Future guests, consider yourselves warned; there are far better places to stay where your comfort and satisfaction will be prioritized.

I stayed at the Dolphin for a work trip. The check in was smooth, I got a great room with a view of the rest of the resort. There's a lot to do on the property, restaurants, gym, arcade, pools, beach, and more. I didn't get to try all the restaurants but every one I did had amazing food and drinks. The resort has easy access directly or via complimentary ferries to multiple Disney parks and other attractions. Some of the food and drinks are a bit pricey and the bathroom in my room was a bit small but otherwise it's a top notch resort and perfect for family trips to Disney.

This hotel is well past its prime, but they still charge astronomical rates. Had a basic room that is nothing special for over $350 per night, plus the resort fee, plus parking fees, and of course taxes on top of that. This used to be a Westin, and they've downgraded it to a Sheraton for good reason. In particular, the room I had was equipped with a regular smoke detector like the kind in a house, and of course it started chirping randomly. It took four tries to call the front desk and break through the stupid AI assistant that kept trying to get me to chat online with Marriott instead of talking to a person. Once I finally got through to someone, the maintenance guys just removed the whole smoke detector, saying it never should have been in the room in the first place. Sure, the location of this hotel is good, especially for its proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. But it's kind of bush-league now and badly in need of a real remodel. For what they're still charging, it's simply not worth it. Your money is better spent at any of dozens of other hotels in the vicinity.

I’d have to give this hotel one star. The rooms are descent and clean, for that I was grateful. Be prepared to get nickle and dimed for EVERYTHING. We were already charged extra for our room because we had three kids (one extra person). When I requested an extra rollaway bed for my youngest, the hotel charged us an extra $35 a night for the bed (after already charging us more for an extra person.) We ordered three Amazon packages, when I went downstairs to retrieve them, I was charged $30 as a processing fee (just for having my Amazon packages delivered to the hotel!) They held my packages hostage until I paid their fee. Ridiculous. I stay at hotels all the time, I’ve NEVER been charged for this before. I was prepared to get charged for a lot (we are at Disney after all). But this hotel went over the top. Honestly, not worth the money staying here, get a room at a hotel 10 minutes away, save some money. It won’t take you much longer at all to get to the parks. At the dolphin you can take a bus to the monorail, you’ll have to wait for the bus to come around (every 25 minutes). I’m not complaining about this but it won’t save you much time. I wouldn’t stay here again.
