The staff is absolutely amazing. Very friendly people! The hotels is city clean and almost feels like a luxury hotel. Kids under 12 eat free at the TGIF that is attached. They have a wonderful pool, splash pad, arcade and a memorabilia store! I was thoroughly impressed and it will be the only place I stay ir I ever go back

BEWARE of this hotel. The first hotel I’ve stayed at where parking overnight is additional $24 per night. That should be added to your nightly rate, and should be highly advertised so we can avoid the hotel. Very disappointing that they find every avenue to increase the cost for loyal customers.
The hallways and rooms themselves aren’t bad for a three star hotel, but you can tell they have a lot of traffic and wear and tear. Definitely time for some new carpet, paint and a good scrub. The room itself was spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. We requested a king size bed but we got two separate beds, perfect when you’ve been together for 15 years 😅. Double pillows for extra comfort.

I would strongly encourage you to consider other accommodations and keep this hotel as a last resort. While the rooms are spacious, the furniture and decor are quite dated. My room was missing basic amenities like a hair dryer, and many items were old. Some of the electrical outlets and lamps didn't work. The staff were neither efficient nor friendly. I tried numerous times to contact the front desk from my room but couldn't reach anyone. There was always a wait at the front desk, and the staff didn't make any effort to assist guests, often being preoccupied with their phones. I would not return here and would encourage others to seek alternative accommodations. I hope the leadership of the hotel takes these comments seriously and takes action to improve. Starting with staff training and engagement would be a good first step.

Please believe the reviews people! I’m a frequent visitor to Holiday Inn Express across the US and I must say this by far is the worst one I’ve stayed at. Pulling up to the hotel will fool you. Looks very decent from the outside. Check in they drop a bomb on you letting you know that it’s $25 for parking. Booked a King bed they put us in a double bed room. I asked to be changed because this is not what I originally booked online. They proceeded to tell me that a whole floor was down and the whole hotel was booked to capacity. So they basically didn’t give us a choice but to stay in that room. Walked into the room and I be damn! The smell was breathtaking! It’s like the carpet has a strong odor they was very unpleasant. Me and my wife had to go to a near by store to get products to freshen up the room. Clean everything because it looked like that just did bare minimum of cleaning. Long story short PLEASE AVOID STAYING HERE BY ANY MEANS.

omg. i found 2 live cockroaches and a dead cockroach. never go to this hotel again. usually holiday inn hotels arent too bad but this one was far by the worst. ac was so loud and i couldnt get any sleep. it was so humid and the sheets felt wet. my feet were black when i stepped in the room and the towels and bed sheets had stains? i dont think they clean the room at all. the shower head was green and the towels were also wet. the drain was clogged and the toilet broke twice. location is good since its right across universal studios but the hotel itself is not recommended. 2 of my friends got covid after the trip and 3 of them were sick. i do not recommend this hotel.
