Final day of a four day break at this amazing hotel, with my daughter and I can not find a single fault or be happier with this hotel. The food, service, entertainment, atmosphere has all been absolutely first class. This genuinely is a five star experience; the staff are all superb and can’t do enough for you. The food in all the restaurants has been amazing; some of the best burgers I’ve ever had at the diner. The Asian was better than most any I’ve ever had and the 7 course menu at the Italian restaurant was sublime. Even the buffet for breakfast and lunch was superb and definitely the best I’ve ever experienced. Cocktails were all superbly crafted and served in decent sizes. The hotel is very classy, but not at all pretentious; beautifully manicured gardens and well maintained throughout. I travel a lot for pleasure and don’t tend to do the same place twice…. We’re booking to come back in October, that’s how good the Olympic Lagoon resort is!

Excellent hotel overall, definately 5 star food! Great selection with daily changes. Room was perfect, decent size and cleaned everyday. The service was okay... the staff were all friendly but could have done with more staff during meals and taking drinks orders Sat at the outside bar. Comparing it to other 5 star hotels, it would be good to be able to order drinks to your Sun beds or someone to come and ask while you are on your sunbed. Great for kids of all ages too!

I loved staying at this hotel. The food and the restaurant itself is amazing. It did not feel like a usual all inclusive hotel but a real restaurant. Families with children had their own area in the restaurant. That made the rest of the restaurant a quiet and romantic place.
We also especially loved the fresh burgers in the Diner available during the day. The selection of all inclusive drinks is awesome. They use high quality liquors and other beverages (unlike other all-inclusive hotels I’ve stayed in before).
The rooms are okay. Furniture seems a bit old. Especially the door. There was a gap through which you could see into the hallway. The room was located a few floors above the lobby bar. Because of the free air space between lobby bar and hotel room floors it was really noisy. Sometimes even until late night, so sleeping was barely possible.
Nevertheless we loved the service and surroundings of the hotel and would like to come back in future.

For a hotel which is meant to be top of the line, it was very unaccommodating to my needs and the enjoyment of my holiday. It felt like they were not willing to bend any rule to accommodate the needs of their customers, examples of this would be putting groups of people together on with sunbeds, they would rather have you dotted everywhere to keep their system in place.
Although the food was excellent and drinks were readily available, it did not feel like an all inclusive holiday, having to pay for drinks after 11:30pm, being charged for room service, and a lot of top end alcohol not being included in the package. When I go on an all inclusive holiday and pay a large amount of money to do so, I expect all my needs to be met, be able to enjoy my holiday stress free and genuinely feel like I've been looked and after and a part of the hotel family. In the case of this hotel, it feels like you're almost in the way of them running their business.
It might just be that this hotel is not suited to my needs or what I come to expect of 5 star hotels, but I can say it a lot of confidence that I will never be returning to a Kanika hotel.

We couldn't fault this place and thoroughly enjoyed a week there.
Staff are always on hand to help and serve you.
Food is plentiful varied and very tasty.
Cleanliness everywhere is always very high, room, public areas and pool side.
Our room a junior suite was big enough for a family of four. On the fourth floor with a great view of the pool areas and the sea beyond.
The entertainment was fantastic. The in house team must work very hard on their routines and are a credit to the hotel. (Make sure you get in early as it can fill up).
