We had a great 4 days here and would gladly come back. The “beach suite”, ground floor right to the garden, is just wonderful. High value for money.
We decided not to use the resort restaurants but rather dine in the many local taverns and other smaller restaurants around the coast and into the hills.
The bar, pool, tennis and other facilities were all excellent. Staff was friendly.
Even if the resort has been around for a while, it didn’t feel dated. We also saw many facilities being upgraded (eg brand new gym equipment being installed, TVs in the room still had plastic on them).
Use water shoes when entering the beach directly at the resort. Quite rocky (but there’s a beautiful grass “beach” in front, and a sandy beach right next door).

Calling yourself a “5 star hotel” does not automatically make you a 5 star hotel. This place was seriously lacking.
They stated that they do not run the A.C during the off season, despite the fact that it’s listed as one of the amenities, and that the daytime temperatures were getting into the high 20s/low 30s. And when we asked the front desk about it further, they said they wouldn’t be turning it on because “the temperature was fine for them”. However, this was rectified by them bringing a fan up to our room (albeit after 4 days of asking). Many more amenities that are advertised as being available are actually only reserved for the summer, such as various menu items (most notably, frozen cocktails). The water slides were also closed, and were only opening later in the season.
Other amenities that you would usually find at a true 5 star resort were not present, including (but not limited to): pool side service, valet parking, towel service. There was also a very limited room service menu and extremely limited allergen accommodations. Finally, they put us in the wrong room, but tried to convince us that we had actually been upgraded. When we pointed this mistake out, they agreed to give us a refund for difference between the two room rates. However, they would only give us this refund if we signed the world’s broadest Non-Disclosure Agreement. Honestly, I’m surprised there wasn’t a line in that document about how I’m supposed to give up my first born son for a life of indentured servitude in return for the 5% refund.
Overall, I would say that this place could be described as a (if I were feeling very generous) very dated 3 star hotel. But to call it a 5 star is absolutely ludicrous and, in all honesty, an affront to real 5 star resorts.

Beautiful resort you can rest and have a great holiday. The view towards the sea is lovely, stuff is nice and friendly. Hotel has his own style mix of Greek, amazing lobby in hotel, not too modern which I love it. Only rooms need to be improved a bit.
I would recommend it, lovely place to stay.

The best resort we’ve ever stayed at! Absolutely stunning surroundings, amazing pool, comfortable sun loungers, great breakfast - the rooms are a bit outdated but still nice and tidy :) would love to come back!
