Went on a mother-daughter trip this week, and while we had some issues with the parks, the hotel itself was incredible. Do not hesitate to order room service meals, because they are fantastic. My daughter loved their chicken noodle soup so much she ordered it more than once while we were there. Every single staff member we encountered was very kind and eager to help.
Our room was very clean, comfortable, and pretty. The beds were so comfortable, and I honestly need to know where they source their pillows! We requested a room with a park view and we were probably given one of the best the hotel had to offer, and we loved it. They truly went above and beyond for this. You can literally feel and hear the Hulk coaster taking off from the room! It was pretty fun to wake up to that every morning.
Overall, we had a very positive experience with Royal Pacific Resort. The prices for our stay were reasonable and beat the other Universal premier hotels by miles, so if you're wanting to take advantage of the included express passes and EPA, don't hesitate to book with RP. It was great. :)

Just an awesome, fabulous trip. My first time staying at Loews Royal Pacific and it's the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. We will definitely stay here for any return trips to Orlando. Has something for everyone, casual elegance for the adults. A spectacular pool with volleyball, ping pong, waiters to bring food and drink to your lounge chair. The kids adored to movie nights every night poolside and the water taxi. It was a short 7 minute walk to CityWalk and the theme parks each day and the Universal Express passes were the greatest thing ever! Overall stellar experience at the Royal Pacific!

We loved our stay here. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff is super friendly and we love the sushi restaurant. The hotel convenient store has a lot of great items too. It's so easy to walk to City Walk and get into the parks. Will definitely book here again.

Great hotel for our Universal vacation. Rooms are clean and made up every day. Turn down service every evening as well. The club lounge and its free breakfast was definitely a great perk. The water taxi to the parks are very convenient and make getting into the park so easy! All of the staff were very nice and the concierge team exceeded all expectations with hotel reservations and answers to any questions we had. I also found it very helpful that we were able to send our purchases to the hotel for free, versus having to carry them around all day. Overall, this hotel is beautiful, clean, well maintained and we would definitely stay here again.

When balancing the cost to the quality of our overall experience, I'm going to be fair and say 4 stars. The room was nice, but nothing extravagant. Especially for 600 plus a night. The main restaurant, I believe, was the Island grill was good. The food was what was expected. Our waitress was excellent. I can imagine they must have had a limited amount of staff in the kitchen, as ticket times were running long. The amenities at the hotel are nice. However, most guest will spend a large majority of their time at the park and not the resort. A great shower and bed are priority, and we had that at Cabana Bay for half the cost. If you're looking to stay at Pacific Royal for express passes, I understand. However, the overall experience lacked luster.
