Absolutely beautiful grounds, from the moment you walk in their huge lobby, you know you’re in Disney property. The little mouse heads in the wood work in ceiling was too cool! We got the preferred room as I had read reviews on how big the grounds were so I’d suggest the upgrade if you want to be close to main lobby. We were in the bayou, no elevator for top floors so tough getting stroller up and down 10-15 times a day. The staff was on point with customer service!! The food was inconsistent in the dining hall. First night I had shrimp and grits that were amazing so our last night, I had them again, it was nothing like the first time. The grits were hard and the sauce wasn’t even the same. The rooms have a beverage cooler instead of mini fridge and it’s not adjustable. Ours did not cool well and we had to toss the antibiotic we brought. Being able to walk along the river to French Quarter was awesome

Great amenities, clean rooms, good parking, never had to drive around to look for a parking spot, family loved the boat rides, food was so much better than standard burgers and tenders. Pastries delicious. I recommend the shrimp and grits or the braised short beef on mac n cheese! Only knock is the required room inspection which we had wake us up early am due to us bringing our toy poodle. Should be done later in the day or when we ask for it. Need to work on a better system. Overall great experience with everything else.

Had an amazing, peaceful week stay at the resort with my wife! Only 2 cast members had a little bit of an attitude, both came across as we were a bother. One was working in the food court, taking the orders, I asked for double cheeseburger, and was told no, they only do single cheeseburgers, with an attitude. The other cast member was from the lobby, called to let them know there were towels outside our room upon our arrival from an activity and was given an attitude on the phone! Other than those 2 brief interactions everyone was great! We will be staying at Riverside again! Loved it. There are so many good things to say about the resort, from the room to the location and easy to get to bus stop to the peace and quiet and the activities was far beyond expected!

10/10 absolutely would stay here again. We loved it so much we are planning our next stay again. The location we were put at was so close to the pool/laundry and the bus stop so it was so convenient for us. My son is autistic and he really enjoyed himself. The food at the restaurant was great too aswell as the breakfast. Super clean room and all we saw was baby lizards/ birds during our walks. We will be back for sure!!

We stayed in the Alligator Bayou. The ambiance of the resort is great. I was particularly impressed with the food at the Riverside Mill, get the gumbo! The only downside is that the resort is quite large and spread out, so it’s a lot of walking. However, you can take the internal bus to get around which does save some walking. The quiet pool (in photo) was nice and relaxing, though we enjoyed the big pools at both Riverside and French Quarter. Having the boat between resorts (and Disney Springs) was a wonderful perk that you don’t get at many resorts!
