Alternatively, Laguna Phuket golf club is approximately 15-minutes’ drive away, while a fun day out at Splash Jungle waterpark is about 35 minutes away from the hotel.

The best resort on the island! I had the best stay at The Surin, this hotel is absolutely perfect and beautifully maintained wherever you look. The private beachfront is unrivalled for Thailand, and ability to pre-book sun loungers takes any stress out of a day by the pool. The staff were exceptional (with special mentions to Dada, View, Poo & Bat for taking such good care of us) greeting us warmly every day. Ample supply of fresh drinking water at the pool, in room and in the gym (also great) was very welcome! I stayed in a hillside cottage and yes, there are lots of stairs, but the privacy and ocean views of these back cottages is excellent and would happily opt for the same room on next visit. Sweet dreams cookies and turn down service a bonus! Had a perfect holiday here!

The only downside to this hotel and that is the only one is the way it is laid out in the location. If you take a cheaper room it will be up high and will take quite a few steps to get to it. Doing it in 38C heat is not a good place to be. Don't be to worried though as they get small golf cars to take you places. That helps. Other than that I do not have anything to highlight from the bad side. A wonderful place to stay in.

Beautiful resort. The rooms are spacious and well-designed. The food at the restaurants is actually very good - probably some of the best Thai food that we had on our vacation. The service is top-notch. And the private white sand beach is unbeatable. My only criticism is that happy hour is unusually only one hour. So everyone is ordering drinks and service is negatively affected during that time.

My wife chooses this hotel for our anniversary & my birthday. It was really nice hotel with the beach on our doorstep. The only downside for me was the room was a little small to what I am used & lots off stairs . How ever they do provide a buggy service . We mainly eat at the Thai restaurant which was my favourite. The service was fantastic & food was amazing. Pool side bar was very friendly & efficient as well. The location of the hotel might be a little away from the town but in return we get peace and quiet secluded beach which we very much enjoyed. All the employees here are friendly and helpful. Pro Staff very friendly & efficient House keeping Amazing Pool side bar staff was great Thai restaurant staff was fantastic Buggy service provide to your room front hotel Provided a room for us to freshen up as we checked out at 12pm and flight was much later. Con For breakfast there was very limited halal option and they used the same spatular to cook my omelette as well bacon. This needs to change due to people religious beliefs.

Second time at The Surin and it won’t be the last! Aside from the exceptional accomodation, stunning private beach, idyllic pool, the great loungers and the delicious food (The Beach restaurant especially) - one of the standouts is just how incredible the staff are! Cannot speak highly enough about the service you receive here, from every single member - you just do not come across it anywhere else in the world. In fact, just about everything on offer makes it very easy to never leave the resort during your stay… and just wait until you see the sunsets! Special shoutouts from us to the lovely Bat, Da Da, Pooh, View, Run, Aek, Dew, Mild and Chai - you made our stay incredible, thank you again!
