The resort itself is really beautiful with its private beach, super tropical vibe feeling. The staff in general are a bit arrogant and unmotivated. The housekeeping is lovely. The room itself is really tiring, especially the bathroom. The living room is great. The service is okay. The first 2 days we didn't enjoy our stay here due to many issues but the problems got fixed later on which made things better. The breakfast was great, the bed was comfortable. The only thing we didn't like was only the bathroom and most staff except the housekeepers were lovely. 7/10

Good location if a little bit isolated, there are cafes and a small seafront with shops etc nearby. The hotel beach is quite nice and the grounds lush and well kept. The rooms are nice but show signs of age, loose toilets, doors that come off runners and key locks that don't always work first or second time... Beds are large and very comfortable plus the staff in general are exceptionally nice. I would stay again.

I wasn’t expecting to be so amazed by the beauty of this hotel. When I was on my way I was slightly nervous however upon arrival I really enjoyed my stay. The service was amazing I made friends with lots of the service crew and wish them all the best. The rooms were cleaned daily and they cleaned the rooms incredibly thoroughly. The rooms are honestly better than what you see on the photos. The food was also great! You will also find booking boat trips or tables is very easy as you just go to reception. The nature you will see here is incredible with a chance to see water monitors (Komodo dragons) along with wild life on the beach (such as hermit crabs and jelly fish) and on the boat trips (we saw wild monkeys up close).

This hotel leaves me confused. On one hand, it is a very beautiful and calm location to relax, on the other side the rooms are very outdated and the ACs are very loud!
It is a 5 star hotel, but the service is most likely 3 star, the staff was very friendly indeed.
This hotel is wasting a lot of potential for this location and what they already have.
The food was mostly very good.
Not worth the price in this state. If you are looking for relaxing and calm beach holiday, it may be something for you, but mind the loud AC.

We are really enjoying our stay at the Cape Panwa Hotel. It is nice and remote set in the hill side overlooking the sea. There is a short but steep walk down to the hotel beach or you can ride the hotel tram (a 3 minute ride) to save your legs. Although remote there is a free shuttle bus “over the hill” a 6 minute ride to the village shops on the opposite coast (7-Eleven, cafes, bars, a few street food mobile stalls).
Alternatively, there is a 15 min taxi ride to old Phuket town where you find obviously far more. Also daily buses 🚌 from the hotel currently costing only 100 Bart each way.
