Just got back from a week at PYP and it was overall a wonderful relaxing week. If you can book a swim up room I highly recommend it especially if you don’t want to hang out at the party pool all the time. The other room we had was one with a jacuzzi on the deck. I like it at night but also used the jacuzzi late in the day before sunset with just cool water in it. Very refreshing. I have to agree with most, this is not a beach vacation. If you want a nice beach, go to Cuba. Like you’ve been reading lots of seaweed (it is what it is) but for me what I didn’t like are all three rocks in the ocean where there resort is. Some suggested to go next door to the other resort but I also found it bad there too. This is the first time going down south where I literally spent 95% of my time at the pool. The food was incredible. The service was good (I wouldn’t say incredible). I would go back for the food, modern look, pools but because of the beach, I doubt I will rebook.

We had the pleasure of spending a week in this hotel, we chose it for our honeymoon. It was a strike in 10! Mexico is no stranger to us, my husband is from there, hence the familiarity and experience when it comes to choosing places and expectations. This hotel exceeded them by a considerable margin! Aspects that won my heart were placing us in a quieter part of the property, a plus was our choice of a swim out room - a brilliant option that has worked for us more than once. Both my husband and I are not very fond of the chaos that usually takes place in public pools, so we wholeheartedly recommend this place. The room was very clean, cool, modern decor, plus something we will remember till the end - the best buffet!!! The food was simply excellent! There are also restaurants in the hotel, which also serve delicious food. The property itself very beautiful, aesthetic, clean, beautifully incorporated nature. The only downside was the seaweed on the beach, but we were aware of this, given the time we chose to travel. Value for money - disproportionate - on the plus side for the property! I recommend wholeheartedly ;)

Have been to this resort 5 times now and had a great trip every time. I will say food is pretty good to very good for the most part. The beach kinda sucks but that is the fault of nature. Party pool is the place to go for afternoon fun/entertainment. After dinner and later in to the evening you can catch a shuttle to the sister resorts next door(or anytime) and use any of the facilities and restaurants/buffets there. If you want to catch a game the sports bar is on that same side along with the nightclub which are also reachable with the same shuttles. If your looking at negative reviews please consider that there are some people you will never be able to please and also sometimes weird things just happen. None of those experiences have been relatable to what I have enjoyed and will enjoy again in the future.

We have stayed here twice now and will definitely be back. All around great experience both times we have visited. We stay in a swim out and couldn't ask for more in a relaxing getaway. The beach is not great but we prefer the privacy and quiet of the swim out so that is not a problem for us. Everyone we interacted with staff wise was great and anyone we dealt with was happy to help. Definitely a favorite place to stay.

Well I do have some mixed feelings on this resort, but overall I really enjoyed my stay. The staff work really hard and keep the resort very clean and inviting. The downsides I would say are the AC units in spring not getting cool enough, but now that I'm understanding the condition of this country and learning about the Temps for cold vs cool. I understand. The lowest the AC goes is 22c, but the outside is hot and humid so it makes it warm on the inside of your room. The food and drink are pretty good and I enjoy the culinary experience here. They do address all your concerns and do their best so on that I'll give Yucatan Princess adult only a 4.5. I would come back again, when I've tried a few other locations first, but I would recommend to family or friends.
