For the size, this is an excellent resort and highly recommend. Staff and service was absolutely amazing, food was fantastic, and the beach was perfect. Lots of beach shares, lots of meal options, not too far away from the airport. This place has a lot of pluses, and particularly over the time that it was visited, there were no spring break parties, which was a giant plus. Lovely resort and would head back to this destination quite easy. The experience was a hassle, free true vacation vacation! Just lovely. Thank you.

Great Resort (Beautiful grounds) with a few issues:
1. Room Cleanliness (especially the jacuzzi tubs) I scraped a dried up smoothie off the bathroom floor when I arrived (didn’t want to wait or feel obligated to tip cleaner). Our family had the same issue in their room with Jacuzzi tubs being filthy - probably too much effort for maids to clean each day.
2. Rules (especially tobacco smoking) that you sign off at check in are not enforced. People smoke at the swim up bars and at the trash cans instead of the designated smoking areas (supposed to be tobacco free resort) which is concerning with the amount of babies and young children at the resort. You smell cigarette smoke at the pools most of the day so annoying if you don’t smoke and worse if you have a baby. Feeding the animals/wildlife is another problem but not as bad as the smoking.
Food: you learn quickly where the decent food/restaurants are. You also have to be on top of booking your dinner reservations as they book up fast especially since some are not the best. If you have platinum booking you do not get any benefit for booking restaurants. We found the Mexican (all inclusive) and Chill-out (pay for everything) are the best. The buffets for breakfast/lunch are best in the first hour and not so great in the last hour of their service time.

We visited with family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and functional, and the mini fridge was restocked daily. The buffet food was great, with a full variety and rotating cuisines. We enjoyed quieter breakfasts in the Sunset snack shack, where Lorenzo went above and beyond and checked in with us daily! The taco hut by the pool was on point, and a favorite too! We really enjoyed the beach, but bring aqua shoes as there are many rocks in the water. Overall the resort is family friendly, clean, with many pool locations and other activities. It is a large resort, be prepared to do a lot of walking (which we didn’t mind).

This was our second visit to this beautiful resort and could not be happier with our experience. We enjoyed every meal we had and were greeted and served by an amazing staff. Of all the a la carte restuarants our favourite was La Hacienda. The team at La Hacienda stood out for their amazing service and delicious cuisine. Pedro our server was so amazing. His humor and dedication to providing the best for the guests any way he could made the whole trip for us. We were made to feel special and well looked after. We will be returning to this resort.. it may become an annual trip!
