I recently stayed at Planet Hollywood and liked it very much. It's a great value. The rooms are good, the casino is nice, and the staff is top-notch. Shout out to Joel at the front desk - he went above and beyond for me any my family. The best part about this property? The location! It's perfect! Center of the strip and the Miracle Mile shops are in your backyard. I will definitely stay here again.

Great experience here. Obviously can't beat the location, you're right in the heart of it. Elevators to the rooms are a bit hard to find in the casino as there are 2 sets depending where you're staying, but we finally got used to it on our last night. Also we had a car, so parking and walking thru the mall every time to get to the casino/hotel was a bit annoying but hey, you have a mall inside your hotel so that was cool.
Lots of great food options. We mostly ate at just the restaurants in the hotel. We did a lot of take out so we could watch movies in our room, so that was fun.
The room itself was really nice. It was plenty big and we had a room on the Sphere side, so that was cool being able to look out and see it. But I wish the furniture was set up so that we could be looking out the window at it whenever we wanted.
The only negative part was check-in. We checked in on a Sunday around 4pm in April and for some reason the line was super long. QUICK TIP though, do the online check-in the day before when you get the automatic email, then when you get to the hotel, you don't have to wait in the line.. you can go wait in one of the kiosk lines which go a lot quicker than the teller line.
But overall it was still a 5 star experience and I'd stay here again. One of the more inexpensive hotels on the strip but with the location and niceness of the rooms/casino, it is certainly worth it.

Just returned from a week in Vegas where the family and I stayed. I have been to Vegas many times but this was my first stay at the PH hotel.
What I liked about the hotel is first and foremost its prime location. It’s right in the middle of strip where all the “action” takes place. It’s also reasonably sized and so doesn’t feel like you need half an hour just to go through the hotel. It’s also reasonably priced compared with other properties. The service throughout was really good. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We had booked 2 rooms on 2 separate reservations and made every effort to ensure we could get a connecting room. They also have 2 separate pools: one for the 21+ and one for all ages. Perfect when travelling with kids.
On the low side, I’d say the rooms we stayed at looked a bit tired. Also the curtains weren’t the usual blackout ones you’d normally get around here and so each mornings kids tended to be awaken by the 6am sunrise. The food options at the pool was ultra limited and pricey but hey! This is Vegas…
I would not hesitate to come back.

We enjoyed our stay here… the location is very convenient for walking to many popular hotel/casinos. Enjoyed being connected to the Miracle Mile Shops.. lots of food & restaurant choices as well as convenience stores, coffee shops (2 Starbucks) & more. Casino was clean and we had some decent wins on slot machines! Also - we saw the Scorpions at Bakkt Theater there! Beautiful venue and amazing show! The only small negative was that the room needed some minor maintenance - (slow draining sink & shower, dusty areas , dirty windows) hopefully they have a maintenance person/crew that can go through each room and “tweak” the items that need attention. All in all a great experience!

Planet Hollywood is a decent hotel right in the middle of the Strip with connections to a lot of other great hotels like the Cosmopolitan. There is a bar in the middle of the main floor casino called the Glass Bar. That is a nice place to gather with friends, the servers were really nice, but the drinks are some of the more expensive ones at $25 specialty cocktail. Music was hip hop and I loved that. This hotel houses some of the Las Vegas Staples like Chris Angel and Gordon Ramsay burger. I can’t vouch for the shows here, but Gordon Ramsay burger is a bit overrated, but the line does move fast if that’s what you came to planet Hollywood for.
