Had a great time at this hotel. Our room smelled of cigarettes when we first arrived but then they quickly came to provide an air freshener machine and change the AC air filters to remove smell. It worked great. I would say the only thing is the rooms do not get that cold, but that's it. Great 24hr restaurant. Perfect walking location. Really nice workers. Elevators were never super busy. Such a great experience.

Mirage is a great spot, but it is dated. Room had a great view (paid extra for the strip view, right over the volcano) and the resort itself is nice with many options for dining.
Take my advice however, get off the strip! It is always a great deal in flight and accommodation, but if you are eating daily at the resort or in general on the strip, you ARE NOT saving any money going to Vegas for vacation! Food is insane! Simply jumping off the strip to Fremont saves you nearly 50% in dining cost. So do your research before going. While Mirage, and all the resorts on the strip have their perks, we all need to eat, so be aware.
Gotta say however, the pool at the Mirage might be the best! Plenty of free chairs to rest on as opposed to the rental fees many resorts require. And a shout out to the staff, who are all excellent!!
There was no construction problems when we went. It will be sad if they take down the volcano though. It really is a great show from many angles.

The hotel is very clean, very pretty, the volcano show was super entertaining. I’m rating the hotel 1 out of 5 stars because it doesn’t really stand out for the price you pay. Wife and I stayed on the 15th floor which is a higher rate for a room with a view, which was in fact pretty good. We could see the strip and also look down at the volcano show, but other than that the actual room itself was nothing special. The pillows were very cheap and flat. The restroom had bad water pressure and some draining issues which were a minor annoyance. The soaps that they provided were extremely cheap. The hotel claims to be a 4 star hotel, but it was no different than any other room at a holiday inn. The room itself was clean. For the price of this room you would figure you could get at least a microwave in the room but that was not the case.
There was also no fridge to store leftovers or just drinks, the only fridge in the room was for the room service booze and snacks. I called the lobby to request for it to be emptied to store stuff and was told that the room fridge was not for personal use and if I needed one I could rent one for 35 dollars per day, or I could walk down and get ice.
The casino is fun, nothing crazy. The restaurants in the casino are very pricey so expect to spend a lot if you decide to eat inside The Mirage. The staff itself was wonderful though, super friendly. And they even helped us retrieve some shoes that we accidentally dropped below our floor.

The hotel is a bit old and run down, and some of the room features are older. It is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful... Although, a few times they outright asked for tips, which is unusual.
The amenities are good, the hotel surroundings very beautifully designed.
On the downside, the hotel lobby, casino and hallways are not very well ventilated, and they continuously smell of cigarette smoke. So, although we got a smoke-free room, the smoke was omnipresent and required frequent showers to get rid of.
Additionally, the rooms do not appear to have a fridge inside (unless you pay extra for it, or get an upscale room), and the water bottles are $18 US (wholesale cost likely around $0.50). I would understand if they wanted to charge $5-7 per bottle, but this price is a straight out extortion.
All in all, not a terrible experience, but nothing that would warrant anything more then a 3 star rating.

Really nice hotel, casino and resort. My fiancé and I stay for five nights. It's a little outdated compared to some of the newer places but it had the perfect location for us! Quick walk to the Sphere! Awesome dining! Nice casino! No poker unfortunately, but there's plenty else to do! I would recommend it, especially if you're seeing shows at the Sphere!
