The hotel is beautiful, we went out of season and felt like we had a private hotel. The rooms are soberly decorated with wooden furniture, which goes well with the spirit of the hotel. The staff are attentive and very friendly. We also tried out the restaurant, but were a little disappointed by the desserts, which were expensive for not much on the plate.
Good point for the children's pool, which is a far from the adult one. Children are not allowed in the spa, which is also pleasantly quiet.

It was a surprise celebration of my 30th birthday at this hotel. The hotel is so beautiful and has this Maltese authentic vibe. The spa facilities and outdoor pool are so nice and also spacious, which is great. The stuff is so professional and very well mannered. I got a complimentary chocolate cake, which was very kind and sweet. I would recommend this place without a doubt.

The hotel is one of the most beautiful, its amenities are second to none. The staff are well trained and extremely nice and helpful. The food is spectacular with a fabulous breakfast. YET it’s a perfect fit for families with small children, our son started crying as he did not want to leave ( missing the heated indoor pool. I highly recommend this hotel.

We spent 2 nights in Kempinski Hotel at Gozo at the beginning of April 2024.
At booking.com the hotel was marked as pet friendly with the regular note: additional charges may apply. While booking via booking.com there were no notes about the fact that specific room type has to be booked to stay with a dog. We booked a room without cancellation possibility and left a note that we are coming with small chihuahua dog.
Later I was contacted by Kempinski with an offer to upgrade the room booking to make it possible to stay with a dog. I stated that it is not written in the booking.com website, but the employee replied that it‘s stated on Hotel‘s website. It would be only fair if the note about specific room type for travelers with pets is available.
So we had either to cancel our booking without refund or upgrade the room to the offered one. Basically we were forced to upgrade the room!
When we arrived, our room was only ready at 15:40, while stated check in time is from 15:00.
And at the end when we entered the upgraded room, there was approximately 1 m long wire hanging out from the wall in the corridor. This is very disappointing. We understand, that likely it is planned to setup something in the room using that wire, but we did not expect that the wire can be just left like this hanging.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is great and location is fine.

A 5-star experience for a short birthday getaway. Appreciated a surprise birthday cake!
Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyable facilities, particularly the pools and spa.
The newly refurbished reception is quite a sight.
