Extremely uncooperative staff for a top quality service enterprise. We had to wait for an hour to check in despite coming in with 2 small kids and having pre-informed. The reception desk was equipped with just one trainee staff for the busiest of times who failed to find any reference to my information from email exchanges. Ultimately, we we allotted two far from each other rooms despite coming as a group of 2 families. We received no offer of assistance to move baggage to room.. despite moving in with 2 kids!!
The spa area is open for kids between 9 to 5, as they don't expect you to travel in a tourist destination. We wanted our kids to get in the pool once and thus cut short our travel plans to make it for the time. Still, we made it only by 4 45, and they denied kids entry into the pool as they were standing next to it, ready at 4 59. Not even a plunge was allowed. Perhaps it's not meant to be a family-friendly hotel.
Breakfast is very standard with zero variation over the five days we stayed in.
Travel desk is keen on selling packages than helping guests with any advice.
All in all, it's very disappointing considering the legacy and expectations.

Nice hotel. Pool area outside plenty of seating. Food is nice and service was good. However worst slept ever. The bed is very comfortable but the noise from other tourists walking past the room is loud. The cleaners in the morning hoovering quite early and the door connecting the room, all be it locked, you can hear everything. I didn't sleep well and would bring ear plugs.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Service was excellent throughout our stay. The guest services helped us with a baby sitter and arranged an upgrade on arrival. Handy website for booking upgrades and activities. Indoor pool and spa were good. Decent breakfast though busy at the weekend if you have a lie in!
Rooms are a bit dated and could do with a revamp and there was only one lift in service which meant longer waits getting around the hotel.

Hotel was absolutely spotless and staff couldn’t have been nicer. We were offered a cleaning service in our room multiple times throughout the day, often topping us up with water and a wee chocolate now and again :) pool area is huge, plenty of sunbeds. Indoor spa was also a treat on the days it was a little cloudier. Some lovely restaurants in the resort, highly recommend the caviar and bull for a very special evening. Breakfast in the hotel had a wide range of options, everything from hot to cold. Hotel 10/10, no complaints what so ever. Highly recommend!

Myself and my partner stayed here in March 2024. From start to finish, I cannot compliment the hotel, staff and services highly enough. What a superb place. We live in Ireland and the hospitality of the staff is second to none. Our first time travelling to Malta and we will be back next year! Well done to all the team, what a fantastic experience and holiday from start to finish. Cannot recommend enough.
