Great location, party area below but didn't bleed into the Hotel itself. Staff are absolutely amazing, helpful and polite. Rooms are slightly worn, not you're standard Intercontinental but still very nice. Hotel amenities are next level. Club lounge was fantastic also.

Pretty ample rooms. Shower and bath. Too firm of a bed for my liking. Very decent breakfast options. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Downsides are the rowdy streets at night and construction in the day (rooms well isolated). A bit on the old style.

Just arrived for the Mrs birthday weekend. We are blown away with the service. Room decorated, everyone is so helpful. And the sun is shining. Highly recommended and the food/choice is great. Do upgrade to a club room(direct with the hotel), well worth extra.

We stayed here at this beautiful hotel for 3 nights and my entire family had an amazing experience. We traveled by car from Sicily and the first person we met in Malta was Robert, the concierge at InterContinental Malta. We couldn't have asked for a better person to greet us, inform us about the hotel and the areas to visit in Malta.
The food at the hotel was delicious and the staff was attentive. In fact the entire staff at the Opal Lounge to include the female manager and Kumar were very kind and professional.
The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Room service was prompt and polite as well.
My family of 5 will definitely return to the InterContinental when we visit Malta. If you are considering staying anywhere that is kid friendly with excellent customer service, look no further.

The staff is super attentive and the customer service is on point. You can tell the hotel's got some years on it because there are spots where the furniture and corners look a bit lived-in, but they keep everything super clean and well-kept. The Byredo bath products are totally standout, and the breakfast is top. It was a delightful stay.
