Being at a part of the island away from a lot of the action you can get ‘stuck’ in an overpriced resort but everything at this place was awesome…including the meal and drink prices. Rooms were comfy, resort well maintained and the beach and pools well kept. Room service superb. My only issue is that my family were not with me to enjoy it. Was here running a training event. Loved my stay, the event room was great too…I’ll be back with my family next time. Highly recommend this resort!

We stayed here in September 2022, our first trip once the covid travel restrictions eased, they were still replanting some gardens etc. Many other hotels were still closed.
We paid slightly more for a sea view room - worth the extra for a stunning sea view. It was great. There is an adults only pool area where you can get away from kids, and enjoy a cocktail by the pool and beach if that's what you want. They also have great family areas, so it works for all. We had a fantastic stay. Great staff very friendly and excellent facilities, awesome food, very clean. A nice quiet location without busy street noise and the local village shops have everything need. It is away from the hustle of the busy tourist areas. Easy cheap transport available when you want to explore and the tour desk was really helpful arranging things we wanted to do at competitive prices. We're going back in July this year - really looking forward to it.

We had a great time at Katathani Resort. The rooms were top notch, the service was excellent, and there were a ton of great pools to choose from. Would definitely recommend.
It is a little odd having two separate lobbies and not having access to the beach chairs, but these are easy things to overlook.

Great family hotel. Definitely geared towards families. Stay in the wing by the beach at all costs. The other wing is over a public road and has no views of the sea- could have been anywhere but Thailand. We felt like the poorer cousins in the concrete wing with no view! Breakfasts chaotic and a let down compared to other 5 star resorts. Cocktails watery too. Rooms nice and staff so friendly happy and attentive. Pools good, give the slide pools a wide bearth unless you have young kids. Beach is a public beach, so very odd you can't get a hotel bed on the beach considering its position. All in all good hotel but definitely not 5 star...more 3 to 4 star.

It was so worth it that just made us relax and use the resort more.
Meals fantastic not one bad meal, staff are friendly and all helpful.
Great family Resort kids activities too.
