I've stayed at all of the different Disney resorts over my life and the Poly is my absolute favorite. The rooms are spacious enough but you're never in there anyways. Great views of the fireworks from the beach and pool area. I had an amazing amazing dinner at Ohana this last trip. Didn't have time for breakfast this go around but it's my favorite breakfast in the whole world. I'm not even the biggest fan of Disney stuff but you can't not be happy and relaxed at the Polynesian. The staff is the nicest and most pleasant even when people are cranky and yelling at them about fake problems. The price has gone up too much for my budget. You need a group if you are a regular working class human to afford to stay there but it's worth not having the hassles of staying off property or at a lower end hotel there. Which those are all great too but you really feel like you're in a far away paradise here. Once night costs more money than I make in a whole week as a chef so I could never afford it alone. Universal gives you better perks for staying at their hotels like free fast pass and you don't get anything like that here and universal is cheaper and better for adults with no kids but Disney is more magical for sure.

Stayed here last week with my 3 kids plus an adjoining room for my parents. Great location on monorail, stayed close to ceremonial hut plus pool which was a bonus. Rooms were very spacious to accommodate 2 toddler inflatable beds with still enough room to move around. Food options are also great! Highly recommend!

Spent the day resort hopping and really like the Polynesia. Emma at the front entrance was SO sweet explaining to me everything I needed to know about the resort. Loved the Hawaiian feel, felt like I was in Hawaii. Very clean, good food (even though couldn't get a reservation on such short notice at Ohana or Trader Sam's). Captain Cook's had one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I had ever eaten. Definitely recommend this as a stop on your Disney vacation. The views of the fireworks from the castle are also great.

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is truly a gem, with its unbeatable location that effortlessly captures the magic of the nearby Magic Kingdom. Situated directly across the lake, the resort offers a front-row seat to the enchanting 8:00 fireworks display every night, elevating the overall experience for guests. The hotel itself is a masterpiece, adorned with lush tropical plants that create a captivating atmosphere as you stroll through the resort. The attention to detail extends to every corner, providing a delightful experience in its own right. The allure of the surroundings is further enhanced by the mesmerizing beauty of the Polynesian Village Resort. Families will find joy in the meticulously designed pool area, where the water slide adds an extra layer of excitement for the little ones. The staff, without exception, exudes courtesy and warmth, contributing to the overall positive ambiance of the resort. A special commendation is reserved for the dedicated room attendants who consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. Our room was nothing short of amazing, thanks to their meticulous efforts in creating a welcoming and personalized environment. In summary, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort offers not only a prime location but also a harmonious blend of beauty, comfort, and exceptional service that transforms each stay into a truly magical experience.
