I booked a King Resort view and received a room facing a wall of trees and a small corner of the front parking lot. I spend my day at the parks and just use the room to sleep at night. So it was perfect for me. Resort itself is spectacularly. Awesome and beautiful. The lobby is fantastic with its soaring atrium and gigantic totem poles and fireplace. We took lots of pictures in the lobby.

If I could give it 10 stars I would. Fabulous experience from start to finish staying here. Beautiful, clean, comfortable rooms and the decor throughout the hotel was amazing. Great restaurants, food in Whispering Canyon particularly fab. Loved getting the boat to Magic Kingdom from the pier. Highlights for us included the pool, toasting marshmallows and the outdoor cinema one evening when we wanted to chill out, with a view of MK fireworks in the distance. Just perfect 😍

The hotel itself is absolutely incredible. The rooms are great, the main hall is something to behold and certainly worth a visit just for that.
The food options are great too, plenty of options and you'll certainly find something if you have a picky eater in your party.
Now if you want to go to Disney to go to all the parks (I mean who doesn't?) It may not be the one for you. The transportation for this hotel really falls short for a "Deluxe resort".
The buses are advertised as one every 20 minutes, but you often find yourself waiting up to 45 minutes for a bus.
They have a boat service for Magic Kingdom but the service is inconsistent, and you usually end up packed in like sardines trying to get on the boat.
If they were to run just a few more buses during the day this hotel would easily a 5 star.

This resort is awesome. We stayed in a studio for a girls running weekend for the most recent Princess Half marathon. There were five adult women. It was tight, but we made it work. There are two queen beds and a pull down twin. There’s a nice kitchen area with a sink, small fridge, coffee maker, microwave and assorted kitchen necessities like plates, cups, bowls and utensils. The sink area outside the bathroom is small. You have to be careful opening the bathroom door so you don’t hit anyone. Same tightness with the closet on the other side of the bathroom sink. There is some cute Chip and Dale theming. Our room was at the very end of a super long hallway and pretty far from the elevator. We had close access to the stairs though so it made it quicker to walk to the pool that way. It was nice to have the option to take a boat to the Magic Kingdom. We had a wonderful surprise visit from Donald and Goofy. There are some quiet sitting rooms that were nice to discover. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely gorgeous! Spacious, warm fireplaces in the winter, comfortable and the staff is beyond magnificent! Bathrooms are well stocked and clean. The ceilings are so high! I love the totem poles! Plus, this is where Artists Point restaurant dining with Snow White is and that is an amazing experience of itself. I love resort hopping
